Why aren't moderators actually helping out with peoples problems?

    Moderator Larry in Skyblock.org decided to not help me when i specifically asked if he can help me and i told him my problem. He kept on talking in chat like if i was invisible. What type of Moderator is that.

    What was your question? She may of been busy or just didn't see your message at the time, I'm positive she would never purposefully ignore a player.

    I didn't see your message in chat, I was on the forums as well. I don't ignore players. You could of messaged me again and I'd probably see it.

    Mods aren't robots, they can't see everything at once, they're only human.

    You imply that every moderator you have ever asked (on the Skyblock servers) have ignored your requests.
    Yet, you only give one name, most likely that single one that hasn't been able to answer your question unintentionally.
    This alone really says a lot.

    I don't like the numerous excuses that people come up with for why mods don't answer players. But in this case you need to realise that mods do numerous things at once. Moderate the server and forums, some even chat to the general community and more. While getting ignored when you need a mod is not a good feeling, you have to keep trying. Had you been ignored after sending 3 messages and the mod is still chatting, screenshot and report the mod because that is generally unacceptable.
    Otherwise you have no valid point.
    Now taking the matter from the title, you are claiming all moderators dont, which in fact is untrue. Players assume they will ask once and everything will be fine. On servers like net where chat can go rapidly you need to ask more than once sometimes. Not spam, but if you get not response, you need to try again.

    Before I got mod, I didn't realize the amount of stuff they have to do. Now that I am one, I see how much we really do. I get at least 4 /msg's at one time, along with having to moderate chat.

    You should also think about what a moderator has to do. They have to go onto forums and check appeals, listen to everyone's bs on forums and in game, plus they have to constantly be looking for people hacking or cheating. Its more work than you think.
