Me and RyRyRy_ created a new island, flat cobble stone surface around the bedrock spawn point, around 6 blocks in from the max island capacity, we have had plenty of islands together before this, but for some strange reason, we keep getting major fps lag, dropping to about 2-5 frames whenever we place a block, the screen also sometimes freezes for about a good 5 seconds. We have turned all of our settings to as minimal as possible, yet nothing has changed... Does anyone else or anyone know of anything to help this? Cheers, OldZealand
The reason behind this is because of your processor in your computer. You started your islands, which would probably mean you have a large surface area. Every time you place a block, there should be a short lag spike because your computer can't contain the amount of graphic heavy gaming youre putting on it. Hope this helps
The only thing you can really do is remove unnecessary builds, or get a new computer. Also, I recommed you get OptiFine if you don't have it... It's extremely easy to install and boots your FPS a lot
Yes. Here it is: OptiFine Downloads And here's the tutorial on how to do it: http://www.planetminecraft.com/forums/how-install-optifine-easy-t466424.html Be sure to click the right links, as clicking the wrong ones will cause more harm to your computer and will make your game slower
