Honestly, I don't think there is anyone more fit for this position then you. You work hard in game and on the forums and have put a lot of work into this application. I think your modship would greatly benefit the server. Good luck my friend, I hope you get this!

10000% This App Is Really Good, I Hope You Get Mod

 

NINJAGOO811 has proven to me today that he is incompetent candidate and is not ready to become moderator. I gave him advice today that he shouldn't act like a staff member when he's only donor. I tried to convince him that players warning players and acting like staff cause big misunderstanding and that's why some players think that donors are staff members and can solve their problems. I have made some good points in this argument and acted nicely, however this is how Frozen decided to end this argument.

This screenshot proves that NINJAGOO811 is a very sensitive player. He won't be able to handle hard players, like players who barely know English and try to explain their problem. He will ignore them, just like he ignored me for giving him an attempt to give him an advice.
And look at that spelling. This may cause problems too. I understand staff members which make mistakes rarely and correct themselves quickly, but this candidate doesn't think this is important part of moderator work. In every his sentence I found at least 1-2 spelling mistakes, which I consider a problem.
No support. As a regular skyblock player, I would not like to see that player as a staff member.

Secondly, I find it "interesting" that after our argument you instantly go to my Mod App.

Anyways back on to topic.

Yes, I was giving out warnings to players that were breaking rules, but in our argument you said that I should just report players and it's not my job to give out warnings because I am not a mod that I'm just a Donor/Skygod. However, I also said that when I give out warnings to players it's just to warn them, but when they reach a certain amount of warnings I go and report them to a mod. I give out warnings because I would like them to know that they are doing wrong, rather than just reporting them.

Continuing, in our argument you said that if I gave them warnings that it would scare them. However, my warnings were supposed to scare them [ well, a little bit anyways ]. So, that if I scare them, there will be a higher chance of them not doing it again. After that your response was "I don't care", to me this response does not seem you were acting nicely. Thus, me ending the argument. As many players say "there is an /ignore command for a reason", as I did not want to create too much drama, I ignored you.

After the chat message I sent, the one in the picture, a few seconds later I said "Good Bye, Mech" and then you said "Good Bye, freak", I may not find it offensive but other players might take in more seriously than me. Which brings me back to the argument, in the argument you stated that I was he one who caused non-donors to think that donors are mods. I am very positive that I am not the first player to give out warnings or to mini mod and to be honest I got this idea from alphawolf aka ReachWolf [Reach], when I saw him give out warnings to players that were breaking the rules, it seemed clever. So, I tried out what he did.

I am not perfect and I make mistake, but we can learn from our mistakes. So, if you do not like me to mini modding or give out warnings, just tell me directly that you do not like it and I will stop giving out warning or even mini modding.

Just some questions.

When you say advice, do you mean telling me that I have no right to give out warnings or do you mean something else?
I remember you made good key points, but can you tell me again what they are [just to check if I left anything out]?
Do you mean warning players, players warning players or do you mean something else?
Do you mean acting like a staff can cause a big misunderstanding, acting like a staff can cause big misunderstandings, acting like a staff causes big misunderstandings, acting like a staff cause big misunderstandings, acting like staff cause big misunderstanding or do you mean something else?

Just a final note.

I ended the argument to prevent more drama from happening and just because I ignored you for trying to "give me advice", doesn't mean I will ignore a player just because they asked me a question or someone that barely knows English. I ignore players for good reasons and I ignored you to prevent more drama from happening.

P.S. I don't recall you giving me an attempt to give myself an advice.

If you consider someone saying "I don't care" rude then my conclusion about you being sensitive is true.
Moderators don't ignore players, just so you know. They kick them or don't react to players' rants.
Anyways, my point about spelling is actual too. You make at least 1-2 mistakes in every sentence in chat.
My vote remains negative, but I don't really think you care because you already have an army of supporters.

 

Satan. Ninja is not a mod so he does not need to be perfect, he has the ability to become a mod thats for sure, but he isn't one so therefore he does not need to take the lead of a mod. Ninja has me on skype and he knows fairly well if he can provide evidence (And this goes for any player) that I can act on their behalf. So if Ninja in hes opinions he can contact me on skype to get on almost instantly, as for why I wasn't on its because sadly I have life and at the time I had to do school work. Another point is Ninja's english, english isn't hes first language, or let alone if im wrong hes only language that he knows. Also another thing with you Mech is that we can never be so sure if your criticizing or helping us giving helpful information -w-

I never said that you saying "I don't care" was rude. I just said that it doesn't seem that you were acting nicely like you stated on your first post. Yes, I do make spelling mistakes due to how I type as am I not good at typing fast.
Carrying on, as you know I am not a Moderator and can not just kick or ban players. So, I try my hardest to under stand what happened and try to talk out with the problem and find a solution. However as you my know I try to avoid or not get involved with conflict or arguments as I don't think they are necessary. That is why I ignored you to stop the argument.

The comments Satan. made were just a bit too nit-picky. You'd be a fine moderator, so don't listen to that kind of "feedback". You did the right thing to ignore a player instead of raging on them in public chat. That's why we have the command. And as for the spelling- an error every now and then won't kill your chances of being mod. It'd be ridiculous if that was the case, lmao.

1) Sorry, but someone saying "I don't care" is neutral, it's neither nice or rude. If you disagree with that then my point about your sensitivity is actual. Sensitivity doesn't have place in work of moderator.
2) So you want me to continue this in PM. I assume you can't handle simple criticism and want only positive feedback on your application. That's just miserable.
3) About spelling. You're just making lame excuses for it by saying you're bad fast typer. You didn't even try to promise to change yourself, no. You make excuses. That is just disgusting.

 

There is a clearly a reason why he ignored you. Take it off of his mod application. Him ignoring you has nothing to do with his capabilities As being a mod. It actually shows that he was being the bigger person and dropping the argument first hand. Like I said take it off his application, and into a private message.
