should people be banned for being rude? like swearing at young children? im 12 and i was called "F``k" by a skygod.
If people were banned for being rude, I'm pretty sure everyone would be banned. We all have our different interpretations of "rude" and yours is being called a not-so-friendly name. If you truly don't like it, report it, and maybe one of the moderators can talk some sense into them. Otherwise, get used to it, as it happens a lot. Most of the time, the barrier most people have to cross is realizing that what other people call them doesn't make a single difference in the world. For instance, if someone called me ugly, it isn't necessarily true. It's an opinion, and everyone sees things a different way. What one person thinks is wrong can be another persons right. Besides what I've already said, if anyone is legitimately bothering you, /ignore them and tell a staff member.
Depends if they continue after being told to stop, then it might excel to a temp-ban or mute. If someone is being rude to you please take a screenshot with F2 and please report the player or /ignore (name) to block incoming messages from them.
Theres a massive difference between being rude and disrespect rude= inpolite BEHAVIOUR disrespect= lack of courtesey the reason why rudeness isnt a ban is because sometimes a behaviour is someones personality and disrespect is an action if people know what i mean haha
I dont ban for disrespect. I mute them if they continue after a warning. Extreme disrespect may earn a tempban up to a perm ban depending but usually people stop after a mute Yes, use /ignore player which will make sure you never hear from them.
"Hey dude wth you griefed me go to hell" Banned: Rude. Apply at Skyblock.net forums ~CypriotLOL This wouldn't work now would it?
I agree with Gem not everyone can be the nice guy all the time. Otherwise you'll get used & stepped on.(personal experience with old friends and ex gf) also no I don't think getting banned for being rude is a good idea. Because in a certain place called Murica we have a first amendment right, which stands for a persons freedom of speech. If a person comes home to play Minecraft after a long day of stressful work, I doubt that he'll be nice to the kid who keeps spamming his chat box "can I join your island?". So that's my way of saying no this world be a terrible idea.
If you got annoyed at someone for doing something, and you said stuff like 'wow dude, you suck. Did you really need to do that?' you wouldn't get banned But if you started swearing at them and stuff, you'd probably get a kick and if you continued, a mute.
