    No, it's not :p

In regards to the thread, I must first admit I'm biased :D I have some raw quartz. However, I recognize the need for these, and thus support this idea. (LOL not going to ramble on about how you guys don't understand the economy and how you need to treat this like "survival of the fittest" :t :t)

    So yeah. Support

Re-wrote some of the parts of the thread :writing:, clarified some things :), added some math for those people that care about economy stuff  (and added it into a spoiler tag for those who are afraid of math :p), and lastly, added some pretty pictures and colors to make it more pleasant to the eye :worm. I even took the time to do a too long didn't read at the bottom of the post (for you people out there that do not wish to read the whole thing :t).............. phew. That was a lot of work :L:L:L

    O well, ya thread updates!!!

After reading both perspectives, I'll have to go with no support. I agree that the price is very high but, there is a very large amount of all types of quartz floating around the server and it is VERY easy to get. with the server updating into 1.8, we'll be experiencing a lot of changes to the economy so who knows, anything can happen. Great idea and well thought out but, sorry I just think there would be more of a negative impact than positive.

Support. Sorting systems and other mechanical creations would become much less expensive and for those who aren't as rich it'd make skyblock a little bit more fun. And this stuff about it ruining the economy? It wouldn't 'ruin' it, yes, it might change it a bit, but seriously? Is it gonna be that bad? No. Anyways, support c:

I would have to disagree with this. I have been searching for nether quartz for a while and I can't find any sellers. So it is quite hard to get. Plus, with all of the nether quartz I get, it gets crafted into redstone items. So that means there is that much less nether quartz to go around.

If you are referring to the quartz blocks and it's variants, then that is irrelevant to this thread

IMA with them... This needs to end. I support this because when those new blocks come out, I will want them to build a huge mansion. Now why should some peoples care for economy stop me from enjoying that. Same with grass though, I think it's a little too expensive. But still, quartz is so needed. I'd honestly say 4 Quartz per grass block

If we ended up doing a fair price for nether quartz, then I suggest using the old .Net price of 1 grass per 8 nether quartz. The reason I suggested such a higher price on the original post is to help make a compromise for the people that paid a lot for their current nether quartz so we can get it added sooner. Otherwise there will probably be an endless argument of the fairness of the price and Cyp/Crew will probably auto deny the suggestion.

What is your rational? You want to keep the value of items you currently own or is there a benefit to this item not being easily accessible?

Would you get over it so easily if you just lost a stack of diamonds?

Well I don't think anyone invested a stack of Dias in Quartz. Just because you bought it for 4 Dias and now your collection is worth 64 Dias doesn't mean you lost 64 Dias... You just simply can't sell it for as much. You paid what you needed for Quartz if you don't need the Quartz sell it, if you do then it's fair PhilsNZ
