Chest locked by name change

As some of you know, as of 2/4/15 you are able to change your MC name. I did this, and now there is a problem.

I don't have access to any of the chests on my island because my name is now different. So is there any way I can change my lockette signs to accommodate my new name?

 

I would say, before anyone takes it, change back to your original name, breaks the lockette, change back, and re lockette

 

Or, you can ask a mod to break them, and then re lockette

 

You have to wait a month before being able to change your name again...

 

And mods at the moment cannot break the lockettes. As of now, your best bet would be to wait till cyp or crew can do something about it

 

You can still revert to your old name. ^^ No time limit for that. :3

 

On .net mods and above can, only not tmods atm. .org Is how you say though

 

I'm unable to check atm...did the update fix the issue or is the server still down?

Also, did the perms get fixed for that too? cause when I asked today, the mods could not break the lockettes that were set by the previous username

 

Any mod can break signs (except tmods).

 

Cyp added back perms for both groups?

You have to wait 30 days still

 

Red or Dark Red mods can break lockettes, your best bet would be to contact one in game to get that changed

Remember you need to:
1) Be online NET
2) /msg a Red or Dark Red Mod
3) If they locate your island, make a bed there and sleep there
4) Note down the coords of ur island, so you can be TP'ed there easily if something happened to ur bed
5) Get the mods to break the signs on your chest and then replace them ASAP with signs of ur new name
6) You can do /homes in the future to get back to your island while the server gets upgraded to 1.8
