    Dear Players of skyblock,

Skyblock is all about working for and collecting resources but if even the valuable resources arent worth crap, then what is the point of it all?
I dont need to tell you that the economy is deflating, a fenomenon where prices go down. This has two causes: donors, like myself, get free items; just so you know if you didnt already, in that case the value drops, and secondly, donors sell their stuff onder the market/villagers price. Ill enlighten this with an example:

In a street a man has a shop with high quality products and all goes well, until I decide to sell the exact same item (my friend found a bag of them and gave them for free). I got it practically for free so I ask a low price. This has a couple of results: happy customers because of the low price and same quality and my neighbours price will have to go down or he wont sell any anymore.

This is what happened tot skyblock so i propose the following countermeasures, of course i need large support:
    1) since the amount of valuables keeps growing the market price WILL have to go up, even slightly is good enough! For this we need noobcrew or cypriotmerks to edit the villagers.
    2) all (or as much as possible) donors ask market price from now on.
When combining point one and two we can increase the prices, this is called inflation, this is good!

    There are two downsides however.
    3) non-donors must have a way tot gain money, aside from voting. I suggest villagers who actually buy f.e. a stack of wheat for one or two grassblocks. This will give all players a possibility to get along when the prices rise.
There is a perk of kapitalism standing in our way: the right to charge prices you choose. This is nothing more than normal and we can, may and should not change that! Therefore we have to spread the word and convince people of this if we wish thuis tot succeed!

    4) in order to make this work, but of this im not sure, donors should buy all the valuables now that prices are low and ask the righteous price when the value goes up.

Let me know what you think about this and id hope tot change the future of skyblock for the beter!

This was actually how it used to be, you could buy things at noobspawn with items other then grass, such as 2 cow eggs for 16 ender pearls or 9 redstone for 4 glowstone (i don't remember the exact prices but yeah) you could even get the occasional iron drop from a zombie.
This was of course before everyone had easy access to spawners and mobs would naturally spawn. I quite liked to old way of things, now its just grass is love grass is life never mind for a green bean it's god items are love/life ._. EVEN WORSE it's so hard to get a good trade without I GIFF YOU 64 GOD LEATHER FOR UR DIAMOND. 10/10 would like to see farmable items actually mean something again, if greenies can make currency then trading would become more fun.

Skyblocks economy is what it is. It fluctuates, and I know, it sometimes falls apart. But to be honest, it is what it is :p

But skyblock shouldn't be about the economy anyways xD I couldn't care less if I was the richest or the poorest. You know, I enjoy it when I really had to work to get my items. I still work now, but I miss when getting a piece of grass was awesome.

Just felt I had to say this xD

No support. I know we need to fix our economy, but many people won't agree to sell things at market price, where's the auctions and bargaining, it's lost because you made it so.
