I even have them up for display on my island Why do YOU think you were banned? I gave very misleading information that reading it now I realise was quite stupid and a silly thing to do. I knew how to find my real account through this message and was hoping that it was in fact found so I could talk to one of my inspirations and hopefully learn a few things. the only things that I learnt was that what I did was wrong and although some people found it funny and took it as a joke ( which it is was meant to be) it was one of the poorer decisions I have made in my life and It was totally unnecessary and incorrect to hassle people in this way. Was this an incorrect ban? Yes and No. I think a forum ban would have be more appropriate now that the truth has been revealed, but if I was in Cypriot's positions I definitely would have banned the user behind the fake account. If it was real I'd deserve to be banned for weeks if not months. My final answer is yes it was a correct ban, however from the first post on the fake account this was never meant to be taken in game. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? Yes, one time when I was new to the server and didn't even know what a moderator was, nor the rules of skyblock, I got griefed so in return griefed back and got caught. Why do you think you should be unbanned? I can see the anger and frustration that a post like the one I made can have on many people on the forums, but this 'joke'/plan to get attention was meant stay on the forums and never be taken in-game. I can honestly say that one of the largest frights I have ever gotten was when I was concentrating my heart out in a spleef and was presented with a big screen saying BAN.
I think I should have a forum a forum ban, not an in game ban as this was simply a troll and had nothing to do with in game, it relates to rule number 7 on the forum rules, however Cypriotmerks exploited rule number 6 in which my IP address was not kept private and under no circumstances did I wish to share it with him. This can be accounted as an offence of his behalf as well. Now I will forgive him for this although I would like my application to be checked sometime soon.
Just a note, for the wellbeing of the server, your IP was used to determine who you were. He did not share it with others, and only used it after you bragged of your rule breaking activities. This is not exploiting his ability to see your IP.
Also as a heads up, accusing the server admin of something illegal is generally not the best way to start an appeal, hopefully you've learnt a lesson or 2 from the previous appeals you've made in how to deal with this current one.
Well I wasn't bragging about my rule breaking, it was troll, so I am just under the impression that it should be a forum ban.
While I'm waiting for updates to install I'll leave my opinion. I normally take Cypriot's appeals, however I'm sure he'll want to do this one himself. What you did was wrong, you tried to cause panic on the forums, you acted immune but even I knew you'd mess up. While you may have intended the thread to be a joke, no one took it as one. You threatened the server and wasted man hours on the situation; I also have seen your name before. Googling your name brings up many appeals and threads about you -- not just on SkyBlock. The forums and in-game are tied, while some cases only mean either a forum temp ban or in-game, cases like this are both, sometimes even global where you'll be banned from every server Noobcrew owns. Do you actually see what you did wrong or are you just appealing for the sake of appealing? Before we can even think about unbanning you, we have to waste our own time searching your inventory & island for duped or illegal items. So buckle down, as this appeal will take awhile.
