My Grandma

Hey everyone.

So late last night, my grandma was feeling pains in her chest, so her husband (my grandpa) drove her down to the hospital. Right away, the doctor found a tumor on 1 of her kidneys. After several more tests, they diagnosed it as cancer, and they're not sure if she's going to make it. She's gonna have to undergo major surgery pretty soon that could be risky. I went down to visit her earlier today, and she was on so many drugs, I had to remind her who I was. I'm really scared about what's gonna happen. Me and my grandma were really close, and I know she's a strong woman, so I'm keeping my hopes up that she'll fight through this, but I'm just not sure.

I give you mah love I know how that's like, my Mom had Cancer, though, she kept it from us. And my Best friend's husband lives with Thyroid Cancer. He's had it for 5 Years now, and Aside from meds, and a yearly treatment, He goes on lives his life, has a family.

 

All my prayers go to your grandma. She'll make it, I'm sure of that.

 

I wish her and yourself the best of luck through such an awful time. She can pull through, and I hope she does.

 

Man, I'm really sorry. I know how it feels. My grandpa is diagnosed with a type of cancer but I don't remember which one. Don't worry she will get better, I promise! My grandpa is 84 and is still fighting the pain since last year. Don't worry at all. She is precious to you and you are going to keep her. Good certain luck.

Thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Call 911 next time . We get chest pain calls all the time and if it does escalate to a high level like this, we can notify the hospital prior to our arrival. Good luck .

I'm sorry to hear this, I send you and her the best of luck. I know how it feels, there's a person that's really close to me and she's battling through cancer, then there's my grandmas brother who has cancer. As long as you keep positive thoughts everything will be ok, I promise you that. We're all here for you if anything happens at all~ Good luck ^-^

 

I'm sorry to hear this.
My grandmother has had cancer many times, and is very sick at the moment, too.
She's had cancer/other sickness since I was 3. I can't remember the last time I heard her be able to talk normally. She's still alive and she's doing alright, I hope same goes to your grandmother.
Stay strong.
If she does pass away, know that she's in a better place and she will no longer need to suffer.

I lost my grandma a few days ago due to Cancer

 

They've scheduled the surgery for this Tuesday. They have to get it over with fast before her cancer gets any worse. Let's hope it goes well.

Oh dear, that's terrible. Hopefully all goes well. I'm sure everyone's thoughts are with you.

 

The surgery results came in yesterday, and it went perfectly! The doctor's are telling us that she'll definitely make it and even be back on her feet within the next few weeks! She's already doing better than everyone expected! This is one of the best moments of my life! Thank you all so much for your thoughtful comments. It really helped me get through this.
