I think that we shouldnt have illegal-to-trade items on .net.i don't want to make this thread long, so i will let YOU people name illegal-to-trade items so i can put the reasons why they should be legal.

As said above, they're illegal for a reason. If you haven't noticed, the rules also state why they're illegal to trade..

Instead of just saying no, why exactly should they be legal to trade and what is your reasoning behind it? because without any reasoning this is going to go down like a lead zeppelin balloon.

I am locking and archiving this thread. Illegal items are illegal for a reason and while the post by demon shows the most basic reasoning, I assure you each reason is legitimate. Most of the items are illegal to prevent island farming, griefing and looting. Others are illegal as they are creative only and were either never meant to be put into the system and were put in by a corrupt mod, or because they need to be removed from the system due to griefing (the mob eggs were once sold at the donor warp at net, but were quickly removed for the reason stated). Other items (Mycellium) are illegal to trade as you can no longer legitimately obtain it. It was once sold at a villager, but just like grass it can no longer be silk-touched. As such, other than some people having hidden supplies, its unobtainable. This reason also goes for flint, though it's more around from the days of sand glitching and the nether being open than from a villager, also because flint is used in flint and steel, which is common griefing tool.
Any way you slice it, illegal items are made illegal for a reason and it's not going to change.
