Do you wish you could speed up your forum ban?
So i have recently been banned from the forums until the 3rd of July 2014. I had to wait for i believe 2-3 days and was always waiting to be unbanned as i feel very close to the skyblock forums. Then on the day i was banned at midnight i turned on my mini ipad to go on the skyblock forums and i was unfortunately still banned. I am pretty sure those of you that have experienced past bans from the forums and are quite close to the website wished they could possibly be unbanned a bit early maybe or have the same idea as me. Anyways during a forum ban which usually lasts for at least you won't be allowed to access the website duh! In this 24 hours a lot will happen such as ban appeals, suggestions, mod apps, reports, alerts and inboxes. Like seriously guys whats the point of showing you 5 alerts and 1 inbox if you cant even click the button without it saying error banned from forums.

What do i suggest :
I suggest we add a new button in appeals called Forum appeals in which the banned player from the forums can only access the forum appeal format and post new thread. A mod will then read your appeal and judge whether to unban you or not from the forums. This may lead to more mod promotions as mods are literally the same as the suggested forum mods. The banning moderator will do exactly what he or she usually does when they have banned the player. This would also act like a test for new tmods and will be helpful to those who want to access the servers forums but can't because they are banned.

No support, sorry. If you've been temp banned, there's a reason. You've broken the rules.

Temp bans are like time outs, it's not supposed to be easy on you. It's supposed to be time where you cannot access the forums so you can think about what you've done wrong and be more careful in the future.

Most of the time, from what I've seen, appeals for temp bans from the sever aren't even accepted often, as the banning mod chose that length of time for a reason. So it's not likely that banning mods on the forums would change their mind either. 24 hours especially is not really that long of a period of time, especially when you consider that you will be sleeping, eating and bathing for part of that time, and doing whatever other obligations you might have.

And using common sense. If something feels like it might be wrong or it seems like it could cause trouble in the community, don't do it, or ask a mod if it's alright to do.

 

No support, sorry. like keeper_of_flame said, you get banned for a reason. When I got banned I had to send in my appeal and wait it out and "go through the trial" (you could say) until I was allowed back on the server.

You can you get on the forums while you are banned, the only thing you can't do is check your coversations.

Although I do support there being a forum appeal section for those of us who are perm forum banned like me ;-;

 

Yes, it sucks, but it can be waited out, one day or two from the forums won't hurt that badly, you know.
