Should hoppers be allowed on skyblock to help you from collecting all the mob drops?

I believe that hoppers should be allowed in skyblock to help you from collecting all the mob drops. If hoppers are disabled, it's unfair for the people that has to come back and forth and collect the mob drops from the ground. Also, when hoppers are disabled, the mob drops could disappear from clear lag, and people will just whine... This is my suggestion that hoppers should be allowed...

Hoppers can be used to loot locked chests, which would cause huge problems.

Private chests can be hopper looted as well.

Depends if you add someone that's not trustworthy.... Even if they tp to your island, they wont even bother stealing all your loots...

I've been griefed lots of times by people who I Tpad to me, and I would of lost so much more if they had access to my chests. I'm glad that hoppers are disabled as long as they can be used to loot, and I will not support this suggestion while they still can be used in this manner. Also this suggestion has been done several times and already denied.

I do not support. Yes, hoppers would make mob farming and other auto-farms much easier, but the risk is not worth it. The looting level would rise like crazy.

Hoppers can be used to loot chests, even locked chests. It is easier just to have them disabled. No support. This has been suggested so many times and rejected so many times.

    Zeenah, thing about this...
If hoppers were added again, it may make collecting mob drops or whatever much easier, right? BUT... if someone were to tp to you, bridged over to you or flew over to you with a hopper of their own, they could just take all of that. So in the end you would have gained nothing at all.
    Just sayin'...

There was another thread similar to this I commented on as well. From that thread, I learned a couple of things.
    1) The newest update for lockette does not allow them to be looted from using hoppers. So, if we could update our lockette plugin, hoppers could be re-allowed. However, I do not know if the lockette update is the same update as the server is.
    2) Justin COULD make a plugin where hoppers do not work with locketted chests.

Just thought I would bring the conversation and knowledge level of this hopper conversation up to the other one.

In the most recent version of the plug-in it can stop hopper grief. Ive tried on survival servers with it. :)

The issue is on .net you don't have to be in someone's coop to hopper loot another player. Someone could just fly to your island hopper loot your chests and then disappear before you notice anything. There isn't really a safe that to bring back hoppers that wouldn't cause issues with players. Sadly hoppers will most likely never be allowed back onto .net, at least not at this time, unless something changes regarding them.

When I said that I was talking about how if there were hoppers there would not be a plugin for knowing where the hopper would go if it is for mob drops. Sorry by choice of words.

I still don't know what you are talking about. Hoppers pick up the items that fall in or near it, you don't need a plugin to make them pick stuff up.
