First memories of skyblock.

This thread might exist already, either way I'm creating one :3. So it's quite simple, what's the oldest thing you remember doing/seeing/etc on skyblock, I'll start. When I joined in june 2013, the /newisland command was bugged, so I used to attempt the parkour until it got fixed. Meanwhile all people were asking to join coops, pretty spammy. When it finally got fixed I typed say supa if u want to join my island. So I got a few temporary coops. And I got kicked from promoting spam <:. Gg Muds.

 

I remember when I first started a random mod tp'd to me and took my stuff (wood mostly) I still have that island, but i started in july 2013

 

when i joined at Nov 2012 i remember that there was a random sandstone thingy near the parkour at spawn. I also remember the fact that there was nether at .org when i joined that a bit later I also remember finding a dual blazespawner from there >.<

 

I remember when they first removed ChestShop and then replaced it with QuickShop and they were keeping it secret and I payed a guy 1k for him to tell me how to make them

 

I remember a few donors Narrcissa/Darkeh/Rachael I was scared to talk to them... I had a few donors friends friends most don't play anymore but I'm happy to say one got mod ^-^ and I still talk too her..I remember I was quite a popular non-donor Idk why I never talked in chat o.o..My first coop was a skygod named Sophie who never plays anymore.. Well My first coop was a guy I knew wanted to grief me xD I invited him and then kicked him and when I told him I was leavin, he and I logged off and 4 mins later I came back to see him breaking my stuff (Never told any mods) I just restarted that island, and my next island is the one everyone remembers..That is it really..

i remember when i had the first shop in the server since the plugin didnt work for 99% of the players so i had to try and explain it to everyone ;D

 

I remember joining skyblock a while back .-. I had no clue how to play =P It was my first skyblock server. I learned the command to make an island. Then, I didn't know what to do, so I looked up kind of like a 'How-To' on skyblock, if you will. I learned of this contraption known as a cobble generator. After 30 mins to an hour, I made a working generator :O I was so happy!! Ecstatic, even... Until I died in lava and lost everything :3

 

Killing people at spawn was literally the best thing ever.
I loved pushing them off the edge, and watching them fall.
The lag which made the respawn take forever was even more hilarious ;9

 

Well, I have never really done anything in the game, but the forums are pretty nice

 

When I joined literally two weeks ago, no one talked to me, until keeper_of_flame welcomed me after being there for 30 minutes. Since then, I've made probably 4 friends

 

I remember: Running around for 45 minutes at warp mob, and then getting scammed out of it at warp nethertrade.
A random donor flew over my island, and then flew around watching me work.
Inviting a griefer to my coop, and then after he wrecked everything and left he told me that no one would believe me and they would think I did it myself to get free stuff. I believed him and told no one.

 

I remember when we started with a friend, after that, talking to SalaWomander, NIH and Moodapuff.

 

I remember and miss /warp chill. It was breathtaking.

I remember making a tiny island with my friend IRL, we talked on Skype and slowly got better. We had a two story island, with a dirt for a tree on the top level, and a cobble generator, and our original chest. The bottom layer had stairs, and our endless water source, as well as a waterfall for making new levels and saving ourselves if we fell. I remember our first spawner was a gift, and we spawned chickens. I remember goldchain being super helpful and giving me some god blaze rods to sell and it made me so happy and helped me start out on the server. I remember getting donor, and my cats running off the edge XD

 

I remember reading Gwism's and Akrill's (I think) convo in helpop of them agreeing to do it.

 

I remember mining cobblestone for 16 hours straight.
