Hello Noobcrew and CypriotMerks, I have been told you don't like long apps so I apologize for the inconvenience but I had to make it long; I couldn't fit it all in a short app Sorry Hi, My name is Jaime I am a 13 year old Cristian from New Zealand, my in game name in Ja1m3 and my nick name on skyblock is Nick_Fury. I have played minecraft for a couple of years now and on skyblock for about 5-6 months. I love the server and I would love to give back to the community by being a moderator. I think I would be a great moderator because I am always watching the ever flowing chat for the person in need of help or if some one is spam in I always say "Please Don't Promote Or Participate In Spam" and sometimes I get a rude message back saying that you are a trouble maker and you are running the fun! But I just reply "Just trying to do my part keeping the server a friend and welcoming place." I Also Think It Would Be A Good Idea To Have another Mod in this times zone (NewZealand) Your in-game name: Ja1m3 Which timezone are you in? New Zealand Which languages do you speak? English Have you ever been banned? No I can truthfully say no as far as I can remember. Age: 13 years old Why do you think you should be a mod? Stated below. How long can you be active on the server every day? About 2-3-4 hours Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes ages ago on a server called AFK gaming How long have you been an active player on skyblock.net? I played ages ago in like 1.2.5 ish and then didn't play minecraft for about a year then came back and saw the server in my multiplayer list and joined and I told myself I should never have stopped! This also means I am very familiar with the rules of the server. Am I mature? I would consider myself a mature young teen that wants to help in any way possible. To me what is moderating and why is it important? To me moderating is a way to connect with the wider community in a way that is not only helpful but is also friendly, a good mod is a rule follower and there is no exceptions to the rules, (one time I had to ban my Irl best friend for illegal items on AFK gaming) a good mod is someone who is reliable and there to help not to abuse the raised privileges/commands of being a mod. To me being a moderator would be an amazing way for me to give back to the community. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The reasons I think I should be a mod: Patient: I am a very patient person and in my previous moderator job on AFK Gaming I once had a person arguing about someone raiding his base and the argument went on for about an hour and a half. In the end he gave in and was quiet. Ja1m3 wins! Kind: I am a kind person, I'll do anything I can to build you up to a level that your happy with then get you to know the server and the people that play in it, in other words I will take you under my wing and nurture you until you can fly freely by your self. Honest: I would own up to anything I have done wrong. And I'll say this from the bottom of my heart "I have never been banned, I have been kicked once for flying (aka falling of the parkour?) that kinda annoyed me because I would never fly. Friends: if there's one thing I love more than playing on the server it's making new friends! I love it I am very friendly and treat others the same way, making friends is what I do. I can't really express what I mean with this just, I LOVE NEW FRIENDS!! Typing: I am a fast typer and can respond to a Msg or chat ASAP. Open: I am a very open person and I am always willing to take in advice that anyone has to offer, but when it comes to rules, rules are rules and you have to follow them. Personality: Your personality is who you are. Personally I think I am like a dog, I am a law/rule follower and will go out of my way to make you follow the rules, but at the same time I am funny, playful and someone that will try their best to make you have a great time. Support: If there is one thing in the world that breaks my heart it's someone not believing in themselves and feeling down. If someone is not enjoying the server and has no friends I will go out of my way to get that person a friend and introduce them to the server and the rules etc. I hate seeing someone being by them selfs and trying their best to get help or to make friends. My time zone: I live in New Zealand and I am in a much deferent time zone to most other moderators on skyblock.net and I think it would be a great idea to have a few more. ————————————————————————————————————————————————— My time table is as follows. Monday - 1-2 hours (4:30 - 6:00) ish Tuesday - 1-2 hours (4:00 - 6:00) ish Wednesday - 3-4 hours (3:50 - 6:00) ish Thursday - 3-4 hours (3:50 - 6:00) ish Friday - 4 hours (3:50 - 7:00) ish Saturday - 5-7 hours (anywhere from 8:30-5:00) Sunday - 2 hours (2:00 - 4:50) ish (As Much As Possible) This is my life statement and I think it is pretty cool hope you feel the same. Itd be good to have a mod in my time zone And did you really mean "Posable" in your timetable xD? "Possible" would suit the app better xD But i think you would make a good mod, who knows, maybe you can also bring in a bit of the christian spirit ;D I fully support you
Support. A really good app. I see you monitoring chat which is good, and of course being limited by rank doesnt help, but you make it work.
75% percent support for now. When i was on I saw you ingame a fair bit but just needed to participate more in chat. And also, it's good to donate and help the server, but using it as a reason could be taken negatively, like a bribe much like ban appeals. And one last thing, try to be a bit more active on the forums, I don't see you on much. All of this is meant to help, like constructive criticism. Good Luck
Ok thanks for the support. Also don't forget that the reason you might not see me much is because of the different time zones because I go on everyday after school (4:00 ish NZ time) also I am on the Forums most nights at about 9:00 - 11:00 ish (NZ time) I will take out the donor part. Just remember that the reason I made a mod app is to give back to the community by helping them in this time zone, because there is only 1 other mod from New Zealand and as far as I know only 1 from Australia.
