How is this sale even legal... I plainly see sand in one screenshot. No doubt there are plenty of other illegal blocks to trade on there.

EDIT: Not to mention the huge amount of grass (becomes dirt when mined since no Silk Touch).

 

What about god items, don't they have silk touch?

 

Silk touch is literally disabled on grass and mycelium

Yes they do, but when you try to mine/break the block, it simply glitches and goes back, you can never get the block.

 

I could've sword that island trade is illegal.
Can a mod verify if this is even legal?

 

I know for a fact that Island Selling can be a tricky business. Blocks like ores, gravel and bedrock (other than the starter one) is illegal to sell (Obtainable on island if a mod lives there. They are allowed illegal blocks). i am not sure about the sand or grass but selling is sort of like adding to a coop, you gain their island (as well as your coop) in which case these blocks should be legal, but this is only my view and opinion. Sorry if I am way wrong.

 

I'm pretty sure you have to strip the island of ALL illegal blocks. So grass and sand are the main ones.

 

The impracticality of which and inability to be enforced being two reasons why it should be blanket illegal.

Island trade is against the rules, see rule 7.

#1 Pink is banned so she couldn't sell the island anyways.
#2 As far as I know, you cannot sell islands if they have starter island items on them (dirt, sand, etc.)

 

Locking as island selling is illegal.
