Strange Log in - cant play

So I was playing like usual on .net and then all the sudden I started lagging so I logged off and logged back on. then this happened...
I was just floating around because thats the only thing i can do. it was like i was in /fly mode while crouching. Then all the sudden I would start falling into the void and there was nothing i could do to stop it until i forced my self to log out again.

so after that I just took a screen shot of my inventory and tried to see what happens if I just fell through without logging out. and then this happened.

If you look closely you can see my diamond pick axe in the bottom right corner. I was just stuck in the void for about 5 minutes before I just gave up and logged out.

I did this process about 5 - 10 times but I could not play normally so I just gave up..

Any idea how to fix this??

 

I could try tping you to spawn?

 

yeah that would be good but im not playing anymore for today. I'll see what happens next time I try and log in and decide what to do from there.

Do you by any chance live in the New Zealand/ Australia region? I know they have been having problems

 

yes, I live in Australia. But the problem is fixed now so everything is all good
