MY MOD APP WARNING:I am not going to sugar coat things in my mod app so I am not going to make promises that I wont keep. I would like to start with my back story so you can know me a bit better: My in game name is MOB_SLAYER_101 but my real name is Liam I am a Australia mate and live in the sunshine state (QUEENSLAND). My life has not been an easy ride so far, getting news about my pa having only 5 years left on this place we call earth. I do not believe in god(please don’t judge me on this) I believe in science. I have a awesome family (A dad, Mum and Brother(older)) I love them a lot and I would take a bullet for them any day. BUT about skyblock.net, I joined sky block about 2 years ago and feel in love with the server and all my friends thought I was REALLY weird because I played it so much until they stared playing it as well and fell in love with the server as well(some of thoughs friends are McBaconMaker, Popcast2, hey_im_your_mum. I really like skyblock and have had at least 10 islands and 1 unfortunately got glitched when I tried to join a coop BUT what am I going to do. Some of my interests are riding a bike, games(of course), movies, family time, and time with my mates. SO don’t hesitate to say hello in game but on with the mod app! Your in-game name: My in game name is MOB_SLAYER_101. I do change it at times but it will always be related to my name so you can clearly pick me out in chat. Which timezone are you in?:My timezone is AEST(Australian eastern standard time) And on this note I am on a lot when not many people are, like I was on for 2 hours yesterday and not one mod was on except Krissy. I think I can help people in the time when other mods aren't on. I also think that a lot of mods don’t go on anymore or not when I'm on so I think I can help outa bit with this problem. So I truly think I can help with the gap in time when no moderators are on .net. for example I get on in the morning and I see 5 mods on so I think when its like 9 am for me its like late afternoon for Americans but when I'm on at like 6-9 at night not many people are on so I think it is the middle of the night for Americans. I have also seen when I'm on at night that krissy is on and I'm pretty sure she is Australian so some Australian mod's wouldn’t be a bad idea Which languages do you speak: I speck English and I am learning Spanish and have learnt some Chinese but I don’t really understand this question since the server has 99% of English specking people. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?):OK, this question, I have been banned before BUT please listen to what I need to say about my banns I have been banned twice I think and the first time was for bridging and griefing, at this point I didn’t know the rules as well as I do now and me and my friend honestly thought that the islands were abandoned so we thought there was no harm. The second time was a misunderstanding because some guy in chat said "first one to msg me wins a beacon" of course I message him and said "me" so he TPed me to a beacon and said I could have it and so I took it and soon after got banned. I didn’t know that I was doing something wrong I was just excited so please don’t take me as a bad person. This is really going to look bad but please don’t think of me like this both bans were a mistake and I didn’t understand what was really going on so please don’t judge me on my not so good past. Why do you think you should be a mod?: As I said before I can help when no help is online and I also love to help, to be honest I thought that people were "noobs" when they didn’t know something but after the news of my pa and other life events like trips over seas and seeing poor people and homeless people and how life can be so difficult for people and that I'm REALLY lucky, I have become a LOT more calm and I start looking at things in a different manner so I now understand I was once the new guy and didn’t know much so now I want to help the people that are just starting and needing help. When I got the news about my pa I have got more involved in life and helping people because it could be someone's last day on earth and so I want everyone to have a AWESOME ,day everyday so if they someone does die at least they had fun while they were still here. I think lots of people want it to be cool, and I think it would be cool to have [MOD]MOB_SLAYER_101 but I also want to be able to REALLY help people. I can help now BUT I am limited so I really want the commands so I can help the people who have been griefed and bridged to and stop people who spam because there is a LOT of spam and it creates a fair bit of lag throughout the server. How long can you be active on the server every day?: For me this time is different every day because I love just to go riding and I also have school work so it varies but when I am on I am on when no or not many mods are on, I am also on for a while when I get on because I get addicted to playing. I also believe quality over quantity so if I'm on for 2 hours for one day I might do better work then someone else that’s on for 5 hours. I am also VERY good at things I want to be, but I should be able to have at LEAST 1 hour a day on skyblock.net. Do you have any past experience as a moderator?: Not on any other servers because Skyblock.net is like one of the only servers I play on but in real life I have lots of roles as a leader some of them are, in air league (like scouts for air force not army) I was a leading cadet and had my own squad group. I have been a sports captain for my primary school. I have also have helped teach at my karate club that I went to and had gained a brown belt (belt before brown). THE FOUR BIGGEST FEATURES I HAVE. Respect: Respect is one of the biggest and most important feathers that a person could have because it is the body of society.Just think what would skyblock be if no one respected Noobcrew or CypriotMerks. The whole server would be horrible because there be constant verbal fights and no one would like anyone. THAT'S why respect is so important. I respect people like Noobcrew, CypriotMerks, Dirty, Goku (all mods) not because I'm sucking up BUT because they have so much presser on them and they do SO well. Kindness: I like to be nice to people not to suck up to them but because whats the point of being mean, there's nothing to gain by being mean so being kind is a better option cause you get 10x more friends, lots more people respect you (feature above), and people start being nice to you. Truthful: Another BIG one because of the server relies on it. If people are lieing about things being stolen and people griefing and bridging and swearing AND I could go on forever. The point is if people lie then the mods and other people will have to much to handle and then people will stop respecting each other.E.g someone reports someone for stealing but its not true and the other person says that and the mod doesn't know who is the lier and who is the truthful person. Humor:Humor is the biggest one of all because no one wants to talk to uptight people BUT I'm not saying there are no situations that you NEED to be serious but there is no harm in trying to cheer people up with a friendly joke. The biggest example is school and i think everyone can relate to this. Teachers who are uptight and mean passes on to the students and then the students are in a bad mood BUT the teachers that have some humor in the lessons make the students in a positive mood and there for they will work better So this was my mod app and I hope you understand my past and something's I have moved on from and understand that I just want to help out in this community. I also hope you guys and girls don’t judge me on my religion or something's I have done in the past. I really just want to help the new people on the server and help out the people who truly needs it SO THANKS FOR READING. Support if you want me to be on your server as a Moderator. Just to clarify, We need mods to speak other languages, because when making a ban Appeal it is nicer for the player to be able to communicate in their own language. Also if a player wants to report something or ask for help the same thing could apply. I will give you 50% support for now.
Eh, I haven't seen you yet, but try being on the forums like the others said. Being on them more would help increase your fame in the forums and people would start to know you more. 60% for now.
MonkeyDqwerty i don't understand because i have NEVER seen a ban appeal thats not in english, if u find one send me a link and i will be happy to change my mind
