A Minecraft Poem [For the creative minds]

Alright, so a lot of the forum games here are incredibly entertaining, but also very plain. Thus, I thought I'd stimulate some of the more creative minds scouring the forums, as I know there are many of you, and I am certain you'll be able to be creative in your writing too. Grammar is unimportant here, what matters is the story you tell.

The game is very straightforward: You're allowed up to eight lines in your poem (try to keep the rhythm), and it has to fulfil two requirements: It must be related to Minecraft somehow, and it must incorporate one line from the poem before yours. I'll get us started:

"We watch sunlight break the hilltops, tell ourselves we can explore forever more.
Forever more we tell ourselves, although we know the moment's fleeting.
We step into the grass, to wolves, to pigs, like many an adventurer before.
From swamps to plains and hilltops, curious our hungry hearts a-beating.

We reach for tools, to dive so deep, to find the secrets that our world is keeping.
In darkness, brought to life by torches and glowing Redstone lit by rhythms of our feet.
While on streets of villages the world across, in beds they all are sleeping.
We see the glow from pitch-black eyes, the light green skin, the "tsst", RETREAT!"

 

We watch sunlight break the hilltops, knowing what adventures lie ahead.
Though we see the creepers in the distance, we keep our emotions red.
Red. The color keeps us going. Stride forward, young player.
We break the ground, going down, dirt by cobble, layer by layer.

But wait! Not straight down! Do you know the dangers below?
Fore there are monsters of sorts, go on, get your sword!
Diamonds, coal, iron and redstone.
The many wonderous oars down below.

 

Minecraft, a place of adventure, only for the imaginative.
Begin your journey, with your mind full of pride.
Exploring the biomes that are always active.
Searching for something, far and wide.

Mine for those ore that are so fond of.
Diamonds, coal, iron and redstone.
Build your land with the blocks you love.
After all, this is a game you should know.

 

As I walk around the everlasting world,
Exploring the biomes that are always active,
I see the villagers I want to take home,
And keep captive

As the beautiful sunset arises,
My fears appear
Creepers, skeletons, and zombies
They are always somewhere near

I block myself in with dirt,
Hoping to stay away
I hear the monsters burning
I run home, panting, and all I can say is "hurray!"

 

Begin your journey with your mind full of pride,
Let the moonlight dance in its glory at the tip of your shoe.
Prepare for the savage, do not let the spiders inside.
We have so little time in our hands, we have so much to do.

From zombies to blazes, they catch us one by one.
Denying defeat and gritting our teeth, forcefully swinging our blade.
In the lands of such beauty, I wonder will we see the sun?
We string up our bows, kiss sunlight farewell, as the hilltops slowly fade.

I finally climbed my monstrous tower.
And realized I must get home within the hour!
For creatures that lurk, are not very nice.
They'd eat me like a pie, with some spice!

I found the monsters who wished to mettle.
It appeared we had a fight to settle.
I whipped out my my sword, took a big swing,
Just as my alarm clock began to ring.

 

Dagnabbit! You were too fast, Fun! Alright better move on to tkjpie's:

I finally climbed my monstrous tower, brick by brick, I built it all.
Moved from caverns to taverns and up, 'till we stood on castle walls.
In the horrors of night we mustered our power, oh, how we stood tall.
Defend this place from bottom to top, 'till we are cornered in our halls.

We crawled the deserts, we sailed the seas, to find the perfect home.
With the beauty of the wide horizon always in the corner of our eyes.
When we found a place for tired souls, to rest, to not feel so alone,
We brought home all our memories, in which our never-ending story lies.

 

We voyaged the ocean, raided much plunder.
But one day, I made a careless blunder.
We were sailing straight, into the Nether.
Everything failed, even the weather!

At last we escaped, back to our home.
The gigantic brick, fortified dome.
We saw them coming, bit by bit.
We readied our arrows, in the fire they were lit.

 

Dear Lord, you guys are talented! This is going to be fun.

Minecraft, a journey, a wonderful land,
With all that one mind can conceive,
From lava to spiders, Nether portals to sand,
And so many great things to achieve.

Start punching wood, build a shelter, mine stone,
Go exploring through jungles and caves,
Brandish a sword and kill zombies and creepers,
Or sit down and watch ocean waves.

There's many more things that a player can do,
But when night settles in, stay in hiding,
Or if you are adventurous, then go out and slay mobs,
Get things the monsters are providing.

Now you know about Minecraft, and it's great, am I right?
It's for fun, not just losing and winning.
Now just wait! Don't leave yet! This is unfinished work!
In fact, this is just the beginning.

(P.S. This actually didn't take that long to write. You can tell by the context. And a few lines don't really make much sense. It might even be grammatically incorrect in some areas.)
(P.P.S. This is the longest poetry I've ever written.)

The elven king swung his divine sword
Cutting through man and metal
A tool of his wrath
Where he roamed,
laid a desolate path.
The wasteland of yonder,
the old promised land
If he played poker...
He'd have the winning hand.

Texture packs are for those who want to see the world in a different way

Servers are for people who seek minigames
From skyblock to The Walls
Many different minigames
Catering to everyone's wants
Every server is a community
It is where friends are made
Those who share the same
Raw burning passion

But skyblock.net is something more
It is not where friends are made
It is where one's spouse is found
It is also where many everlasting friendships are formed
Many love the server

When one first spawns in, all this is new.
Where is the vast land, and ocean so blue?
A small patch of land, be careful there and don't slip!
Over that edge, an endless void, so get your grip.

This new sky world of floating islands sure is a test.
But meet that challenge, for when we try to be the best,
We come together, and a brand new dream is what aspires.
We will dream and build, and that is truely what our heart desires.
