Depends on donor upgrade, like 0-10, or 100-250.

 

If you need it yes, it's worth it. But most people value grass more. Ex- 64 grass beats the offer of 50 iron for a diamond.

 

Could you say how much each donor rank is? i.e $10 upgrade 10-20 diamonds Etc.

 

It's not really possible, each donor upgrade is different. A good thing to go by is it is usually at least 3-4 diamonds per dollar to get someone to upgrade you. But that number changes A LOT.

Obsidian is easily farmed, thus it is not very valuable. Since it costs 1 redstone per obsidian to farm, i'd put the value about the same as redstone.

You can also use string. I'm using string on my .ORG island

 

It could be. It's all about the volume being sold. If someone only needs one because they lost their lava or something I could see it selling for 2-3 grass. But a stack of obsidian wouldn't cost 2-3 stacks of grass.

Not anymore, you used to be able to buy iron from the then /warp grass, I think the price was 3 grass, however with that removed, the price of iron has dropped drastically, it's probably more on par with 1 grass = 1 iron now, maybe a little less, because you can spend Grass at /warp grass, but you can't spend Iron there, only trading with other players.

 

Don't forget the time taken to farm, it takes a while to get a stack of obsidian, even with the most efficient generator. You're paying for the effort more than the redstone

 

Definitely not right, Ive probably bought more of that than most only new buyers or sellers of quartz try to sell it for tops 1 diam each, but price hype went crazy and there is till ALOT of quartz everywhere I own 850 pieces (blocks,steps,slabs,pillars,chiseled) Mostly bought in the past couple months And it didnt get popularized until i started buying alot and asking around and it spread like wild fire. There is way to much quartz for it to even be close to 1 diam each.. its just that people get a hold of one since they dont own any and try to sell it for god knows what. Then those who may have a stack see that price and trying to sell 64 quartz for 64 diamond which smart people wouldn't pay that for it.

 

Yea, so I'd say a little more valuable than redstone. But I've sat there and farmed stacks of it pretty quickly, it isn't that time consuming/difficult.

 

But it's minddumbingly boring.

 

I thought iron was worth about 1 1/5 Grass because 50 Iron= 1 Diamond and 64 Grass= 1 Diamond
