I agree... I often see people writing simply disgusting things, but I can't seem to get the attention of a moderator. Don't know if I am asking wrong or what, but it doesn't usually work.
IF the moderator you are trying to message doesn't answer, just post a report on the forums about the offence.
Poor crusader was on last night and didn't want to get off until another mod was available, and not one stepped up to the plate. I was disappointed, since I saw at least half of NET mods on my Skype were "online" and seemed to be not busy.
im always in skype cause of my phone :L i just finished my essay at 3am tho so now i can get to my exam that starts in 5 hours (Y)
Yeah i saw crusader. From what ive learned on this thread 1. Mods are volunteers 2. apparently dirty ninja kinda agrees with us (ones who notice staff absence) 3. apparently cyp agrees with us (who notices staff absence) 4. One mod deleted a thread without proof or a duel topic (either one i was to supply proof) 5. I put proof of abscence 6. now a REVELATION Dirty Ninja doesnt know about? Look, even if theres a legit reason why they havnt appeared in a month or 2, its still not good enough for mods to be that absent. Because thats just a handful of people absent, there are more who are bordering on months absent. You dont think at least one of those days in a month they could visit minecraft. Theres even minechat to look over chat and do a little bit of mod work. Net is a large server that needs MODS. everyone here mainly agrees that NET needs mods, but people like crusader is forced to mod on his own, other mods appear every so often to lend a hand, and the rest just hold on to the mod title instead of giving it up when they cant do their job for months. That is all there is, everyone knows school, timezone and everything, but yet the past week for more than half the day, not mods for in game help (thats me and a few others mainly from australia)
The mods that have been off for 1+ months should be demoted. When they get back on they can reapply. There are plenty of mod apps with a ton of supports. Demote some of the mods that dont play anymore and add new ones that do. This will help with the problems. Mods shouldnt be off for 1+ months unless they have a reason. If not they should be demoted. We need some fresh new active mods.
What are saying is a bit true, but some mods do have legitimate reasons why they cannot come on, whether its family issues, computer access, etc.
