See who has Viewed your Threads

I've always wanted to see who has viewed my threads, if I make a thread and tag someone and they don't leave a comment then you won't know if they saw the thread or not. It's kind off like how you can see who has voted for polls. I don't do stuff with websites so I wouldn't know how to put it in, but there are smart people out there that could do it

Support, but people will spam saying "UMG CYP VIEWED MY APP UMG!!11" so that could be a problem...

 

Those plugins chew bandwidth and they're highly annoying.

 

No support, that would cause too much for the server to hold.

 

^This, coupled with everything occurring on forums right now will most likely have this declined, or postponed until it is possible :/ I do like the idea, though, but it's just not probable, especially right now

I don't think I put enough detail into this I'll try to explain it again

When you see a thread before clicking on it you see the number of people who have viewed the thread, like you can see who has voted on a poll, and when you click on the poll it can come up with a box of who has voted for what thing. My idea was for something like that, you click on the number of people who viewed the thread and a box comes up off there names. like the poll if you created the thread you could see who viewed it but other people couldn't. If someone voted on your poll it doesn't spam your alerts, so I don't think this would either.

I understand that this wouldn't get put in very soon, the forum being hacked and everything, I just thought it would be a good idea to put this out now before I forgot about it

I think that this is a good idea, well based on what I have seen anyway, but I think that there should be a turn on/turn sort of button, support.

 

I like the idea of this but maybe it could just be for certain things like: mod apps or conversations?
