Problem Connecting

My problem is that when I try to Connect it says,"Logging In..." and then it never logs in. I just sit there waiting for like an hour. Its not my internet. I did used to be banned, but I am not anymore. If you could help me fix this problem I would be really happy.

You are not banned, may just be a connection issue.

 

I got it to log in after about 10 minutes today, and it says banned.
That might be a bug, or Kato hasn't unbanned me yet.
He said he would next time he was on.
But that was 5 days ago.
I am just glad that it finally stopped logging in...

Also do you ban a persons IP or just their username? Because this is a brand new computer so its a different IP then the one I got banned on.

 

So maybe the problem is that Kato banned my username and IP, and then when he unbanned me he only unbanned the IP. Just a thought. Sorry to be a bother, its just that I would really like it if I could play with my friends.

Since this hasn't been answered I thought I will help out. Usually you need to give the most specific details you can regarding connection issues so I will start with the most simple, and common.

The "Logging In.." is almost always because the server is at capacity and if your not a donor you do not have the reserved slot permission. If you are a donor then we discuss other possible issues. Even if it says like 480/500 and you think its not full, it doesnt reset the number until it pings the server again.

 

Usually its not a router issue, that usually comes into play when you have incoming traffic and your firewall ports aren't configured correctly. I wouldnt say its not possible, as your DNS (whomever your router uses) has been known to block random ips and sites. But if its a new pc and no router or provider change this wouldnt be an issue.

Kind of, it does not say Logging in... anymore, but when it loads it says that I am still banned.

Yes, if you do not believe me then check out Katos last post. it was over a week ago. He said that he was going to un ban me next time he got on. Either he forgot, or he has not been on the server in a long time. If someone could help me that would be GREAT!
