• Why do YOU think you were banned? Grew a tree under /warp slg on the secret bedrock box and a ban happy mod banned me.

• Was this an incorrect ban? This punishment was too severe. I did not get any warnings or kicks of any kind.

• Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? Yes, I was banned for dropping illegal items at spawn because It wasn't in the rules at the time to not drop illegal items at spawn.

• Why do you think you should be unbanned? Growing a tree does not constitute a ban. I will be more respectful of public areas in the future.

I would like to thank you for admitting to what you have done.

This is what I like to hear.

Well you chose a very bad time to do so. At the time there were 3 or 4 people surrounding that area. Taylor1211, Snoopy117, and Livvy can all vouch there were people being very bothersome and then I come out of that area and see you planting a tree. All surrounding that place essentially asking for a ban. Being down there is one thing, but growing a tree? Unneccessary.

I am not a ban happy mod. I only ban with reason, not for fun.

 

Be that as it may, I did not receive any warnings or kicks what so ever. If you had let me, I would've removed the tree myself just like I had removed the dirt I had placed, instead of banning me right on the spot.

 

Ok, but as I said, you seemed to be with three other people who were being very immature. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. You have no reason to be there in the first place. Lets not forget that this is also technically griefing. You placed blocks and destroyed them.

 

If this is technically griefing, then shouldn't you ban the other person who placed ice blocks and destroyed them? And If I destroyed the blocks I placed, how Is that griefing? If you look up the definition of griefing, it says "a griefer is a player who deliberately irritates and harasses other players within the game". Using this definition, how am I irritating you by destroying the blocks I placed?

 

Its not that you are irritating me, it is the fact that you are going against the rules set on this server. Not a definition set by someone else. You still had no reason to be down there in the first place and grow a tree. Why were you down there anyway?

 

I was down there because I wanted to be. There are NO rules that say I can't go down there. And also, growing a tree is nothing compared to looting an island or spamming. "Not a definition set by someone else." Are you saying that you have your own definition of griefing? Because If you do, please tell me because I follow definitions that come out of dictionaries. If people do not follow the definitions that come out of dictionaries, then rules would be hopeless without a proper understanding of the words.

 

What are you trying to prove with your questions and arguing? I will be asking questions here, not you.

Arguing with me isn't going to help you appeal at all. Lets see, you grow a tree in a private area that isn't yours. It clearly says right in the front of the building it says Non-staff will be banned without warning. Even though that is only valid for being inside, well gee, that should be a sign that you don't need to be there. Im not continue arguing with you of why you there. Yes you have a right to be there, but not inside. And I'm not saying you were, but really? Growing a tree?

You covered of half the box with a tree. That box isn't yours.

 

I argue and ask questions because I want to play on this server again. I argue because I like this server. I argue because this ban is ridiculous. This has got to be the dumbest ban any mod has done on this server. Banning for growing a tree? Really? How about you actually focus your attention on the real griefers, not people who grows trees in private areas and then not given the chance to destroy the blocks he placed. And also, everything that ImDaWinner says isn't always true. Placing blocks isn't necessary griefing. I'm sure that If I grew a tree on most islands, people probably wouldn't take it as a grief. They would probably take it as a gift. "Oh look, free wood, I'm going to report this because Its technically a grief.". And also, my "grief" isn't so dramatic as the ones mentioned above, If I covered an island with lava, then ok, I understand that ban, but If I grow a tree in a private area, and I get banned. That's a little extreme.

If you want to unbanned, why would you continue to argue with me. Im not going to get mad at you and deny your appeal, well because mods shouldn't do that. Yes most people would enjoy and appreciate free wood and leaves. But this wasn't at an island. It was an area designated for staff only. In fact, I don't think the owner of that area could care less about wood. He is busy doing other things for the server and for himself. You, like I said, had no reason to be there.

Also, it doesn't matter the severity of the grief. Im not going to sit here and keep arguing with you. Do you want to be unbanned or not?

Like I said before, if you read what I wrote, there were people already being extremely immature and bothersome to us.
You were in wrong place at the wrong time, so it looked as if you were with them. Still, doing the wrong thing. It isn't your's, so what gave you permission to build and grow there?

 

Yes, I do want to be unbanned. Nobody gave me permission to build and grow there. And I'm sorry that I didn't ask before I grew the tree or even think about what I was doing before I did it. I'm sorry that I'm arguing so much, It's just that (as I said before) I like this server, and want to continue to play on it.
