The only way to get a warp in net is if you make something elegant, then it can be protected and added. The reason why regular players can't set warps is because none of the islands are protected.
Ok. So I have a warp on .org called warp charity. If I built something like that, would I be able to apply for protection and warp status on here? Because that...would rock. There was more coming for that place too, but the server economy totally crashed. Would I need to build something more epic than that? /warp mobs isnt too fancy or anything. Neither is /warp animals. Is the likelihood of getting protected/added pretty high then, if my design is good? Also... does that mean its way easy to grief on .net? Can players destroy my island's blocks etc? Sorry for my noobyness. I have yet to understand the nuances between .net and .org.... Thanks!
Having a warp set on .net is by arrangement only with the admins. Building something awesome is no guarantee you will get a warp set for you.
How might I go about having a conversation with an admin about providing some design for them? I notice that /warp skybase was likely not an original warp. I could definitely build something like that, but whats the point if no one gets to visit it? doesnt that kind of take the fun away a bit? I can never set it up so that others can see my island unless they have the tp permission. :/
Well, generally you need to build something awesome first, then if it is deemed worthy and useful, it may be used. For every design that players have done that have been used as official warps, 10 have not. Build it, then post screenies here for all to see. If enough interest if whipped up, it's likely an admin will see it.
