Lockette ?

I just followed this guide, and succesfully made this lockette thingy on .net.

However i have a concern ...

You can lock the doors with this lockette plugin, however what about the surrounding blocks ?
Surely people are not that daft and even if your door is locked, they can break the blocks adjecant to it and gain acces to your build or whatever you have behind that locked door ?

Can anyone explain if a locked door protects the whole building/island or just anything from opening that has the private sign on it ?

Really, locked doors don't change the blocks around only the door.

Of they are griefed, it can be rolled back and te griefer a actions, undone.

I am in the process of building a whole village/mansion complex so thats why i asked.
