Closed Targetblocks and bells

My last suggestion today, Could target blocks specifically, but also bells, be added as their own redstone setting to enable or disable?

Players can't ring bells on others islands unless redstone is enabled, but that is included with repeaters comparators and dispensers etc. Same for using target blocks.

I made a fun minigame design I'd love to create further. The idea is that theres a bunch of targetblocks around an area, and you shoot them with snowballs or arrows to activate a redstone circuit for a reaction.

Eg shoot one target blocks and fireworks are dispensed. Or shoot a different targetblock and it'll reveal a new challenge.

But unless players are trusted, they can't use the targetblocks when redstoen comparators etc are disabled.
A way around it is to use an observer with a string placed in front. But that's not as aesthetic or fun as shooting targets and getting a fun reward for it

So having it as a separate category maybe with bells being rung, it could open up new possibilities. I could further create the minigame as an example, and players could have an option to ring bells on other islands I'd the owner sets it so.

 

+1 I had a workaround but it was kinda clunky where id use armor stands that get hit by arrows/snowballs to trigger stuff. I think the devs could add this easily since it's just tweaking permissions/settings for redstone. Plus it’d open up way more creative builds for everyone, not just minigames but also puzzles, parkour courses, or just cool interactions on islands
