Implemented Extend /ads duration

Please can we have either an extention of /ads duration from 3 days to 5 or 10 days (or even up to 30!)

Alternately can we add a button where you can pay extra money to extend your /ad by x days? Maybe 1k per extra day up to a maximum of 30 days?

Everyone knows Eco has an issue with spamming chat with ads, we've had several suggestions about it and a new rule recently implemented. Let us take the pressure off chat and make /ads actually useful please.

Can we please also have a way to autorenew your /ad

I'd suggest this could fall under survival too, and in my opinion, extending system would be nicer, as you could stack up the visits counter Dx but make it 3-5 day renewing max, without any automation.

 

Yeah agree with this would be nice to extend the ad without having to wait for it to finish and that helps reduce lost grass to the stupid ad bug.

 

Support, we need an ad duration extension at the very least! Autorenewal would be a nice addition too!

 

I agree that they should extend ads duration.

 

I think ads are fine how they are. Every player has a fair chance to get an /ad on the list, but if that list is full from players leaving their ads renewing on a repeating toggle, then other players won't be able to advertise their islands.

If you want to renew your advert, you can cancel it and then pay for a new advert listing at the same time and this will keep your current visitor tally. I think that's a fair way to renew your adverts whilst giving other players a chance to list theirs too.

If players are left keeping their adverts auto renewing, it doesn't give others a fair chance to advertise their islands. I think thats fair for all. 3 days is more than enough time to advertise your islands.

As I've mentioned above. You can quickly cancel an advert. Then pay for a new one and it'll keep your island visitor score. Which let's face it is the main perk of having /ads to begin with. This then gives others a chance to have their advert listed too.

I'd be interested to see why so many disagree with this.
