Support Amount Threshold

?

Is 15 support reactions too high of a threshold, too low, or is it a good number?

If a suggestion gets a certain amount of support reactions (15?), then it would send Dex a notification or something to review it.
I don't think 15 support reactions should equal implementation. A lot of us have no idea how to run a server, let alone one as big as SkyBlock, so we don't always know what's feasible.
I don't know how the forums or Dex works. Maybe Dex reads them all anyway. So feel free to let me know what you think.
A downside could be that this results in spam and abuse of the system with people saying to support their forum post, but I'm hoping after some trial and error that we can figure out how to balance things out.
I also want to say that this forum post is not to say Dex isn't doing his job or anything. In fact, I want to acknowledge the fact that he is very busy and I don't want to overwhelm or upset him. Maybe this implementation would even help him. I'm not sure.

    EDIT: never mind

Maybe they should just reverse sort by reactions. Instead of having a trigger.

They start with the high numbers and scroll down if they workload allows for it.

I somewhat disagree with the idea of a quantitative threshold. I feel this would move the needle too close to a 'popularity-contest' style of suggesting. Whilst there is truth that great suggestions should and do get more support, this encourages hive-mind mentality, and it is very possible that equally valid, but more niche or controversial suggestions could be ignored which I don't believe is in the spirit of this system.

Instead, I think the system as it is works fine. Support reactions are a useful tool to see how the community perceives a change but they should not have more influence than that.

This is a good idea for threads surpassing a 'no support' threshold/ratio to be archived, especially since there are many suggestion threads open which are inactive. Though I do trust the staff team to at least read popular suggestions even if they do not comment or rate them.
