As I come into the 8th month of me (and the others who you likely already know) being permanently banned, I have had the chance to reflect upon what I did, my punishment, and the impact of what I did had on the server and the community. Of the 4 that were banned, I would say I have given the least amount of input on the situation and the least amount of effort to make up for what I had done. In all honesty, I do not believe what I did can be taken lightly as it was something that would effect all players on the Skyblock server and I do believe punishment was necessary for what was done. I was given the chance by Cyk753 to explain myself moments before I was ultimately punished permanently "confess and we might not perm ban you". However, in the heat of the moment I had no idea how to approach the situation and I had felt as if I had no chance and that the permanent ban was inevitable. The responses and comments I gave on the situation were nonchalant, careless, and remorseless. I am not entirely sure what I have said on the situation and my ban, but I can confidently say what was said does not at all reflect how I felt about it all. The way I approached the situation by speaking about it lightly, bragging about it, and just treating the situation as if it had little effect on the server and the community was without a doubt my way to cope with what had happened. I know saying this will not help my situation but I believe what part I had played should at least be known. I had been on/off the server for about 6 months leading up to the vandal act I was a part of. Even when the act/plan had been discussed and talked about amongst us 4, I was the one that was least responsive about it all and in the end all I had done was provide sugar cane to craft paper. I know what I did played a part in something bigger than providing sugarcane, but I was not even around for 90% for what had happened and I just feel this should be known. Anyways, the way I had approached my punishment and everything following it does not at all reflect how I had been effected by the entire situation. When I was bragging, talking lightly about the act, and showing little to no remorse about it all, what I had really been feeling was deep regret and just the need to say sorry to all I have effected negatively due to what I had done. And right now, I will take this chance to say sorry to anyone and everyone that has been effected by what I was a part of. After my punishment I had many people reach out to me asking me to appeal or ask why I did it or ask me if it was worth it. And going through that really showed how big of an effect I had on the server and the community that plays it. Once again, I truly am sorry to those that were effected by this and especially sorry to the staff team that had to deal and put up with it all even months after it happened. If you're wondering how I will make up for this mistake that I still regret even now. I plan on taking on a different role in the servers (Skyblock, discord, and even economy). Previously before my ban, I was mostly head first into the economy and how to really become as rich as possible, which do not get me wrong I'm not saying that is a bad thing. But the other role I played was being an open, easy to talk to, friendly presence that helped people when it came to the economy, game mechanics, building, and even instances outside of the server by just being someone to rely on or talk to. And it is that very role that I miss the most, and one that I hope one day I can come back to if the staff team allow it.
Before finishing this off I don't think I can make this appeal without mentioning what I did around the time of the Halloween Drop Party 2022. Yes, I ban evaded, which in itself is not at all a good look especially when it comes to your case of getting your appeal accepted. However, when I say this I'm sure most of you will understand how I had felt about it all and how it was something most if not all people would never turn down. As the Halloween Drop Party was closing in, a friend gave me the chance to play on the server by providing me an account and VPN to do so. I was unsure about it all, but in the end it was something I ultimately could never turn down. However, I knew what I had done (ban evading) was wrong and I quickly gave in and told a couple staff members about my presence on the server which I'm guessing got me banned again. In the time I had spent on that alt, I thought maybe taking a chance at creating an appeal was worth it. Even before my time on the alt I had always planned to appeal, but after the responses to the other's appeals and other comments by staff it just made me feel discouraged and as if I had no right to appeal. But through talking to some staff members they said I should appeal and that the team would be willing to comply and give me a chance if I made a commitment and came truthfully about everything that has happened. So this is my appeal and my pure and honest truth about everything leading up to the incident and everything that followed after. If I do not deserve to be unbanned, I understand, but I sure hope whoever reads this and takes on my appeal understands where I am coming from. If I am given the chance to come back to the server, I know my words mean little without action, but I plan to come back and stay true to the rules as I did before the incident happened. All I, Eric, Ca1eb2k, and Calidre are asking for is a chance to prove ourselves by making a positive impact on the server like we did before we acted foolishly and made a negative impact on the server that each of us are more than sorry for. Please try and understand.
