Skyblock Why don't mobs drop weapons/armor

I used a Looting III sword in /warp mob for like an hour straight. I raked up 9 stacks of rotten flesh to get an idea of how long I spent, and not a single zombie or skeleton dropped their weapons, tools, or armor. Is this normal?

 

Admins should turn it on imo

 

This exists in Vanilla Minecraft too, and something that has consistently made me rage. It's ridiculous

 

That would be a great update if they could drop stuff like that! Thats a Great idea. Suggest it!
