It is with great sadness to have to create such a thread. On Gray Sage's profile today it was announced that on the 31st of January, 2022, Gray Sage passed away aged 74. Gray Sage, even if he may not like it, was the grandfather of our server. We knew him as the supportive and wonderful community member who always had a story to tell and one of the most interesting lives that we had heard. With over 20 years working at Lego and being a smart, tech savvy man, we were honoured to have him play our server. I remember chats where he shared so many little secrets and showed us really amazing things about Lego and current technologies. Gray was a regular face on our teamspeak server and gave some of his spare time to become a teamspeak mod. While Gray stopped being a regular member long before some of you joined we would await his updates and stories of his life. It felt like we were truly a part of his life with him announcing big life moments for him; the sad, joyous and the little things in-between. It is so clear that he has touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He made teamspeak a wonderful place and his kind and caring nature made everyone feel welcome. His profile only emphasises how important his presence was to so many and how loved he was in our community. I know that I enjoyed the chats and the fun times that I had in the presence of Gray and so many others past and present will have stories of him too. Feel free to share all your memories of Gray you have below. We love you Gray, Rest in Peace Love Krissy, and the Skyblock Community
It was truly a pleasure knowing him. It's remarkable how many of us loved being around his presence and consistently checked up on him for any life updates. He will truly be missed. Even though he's no longer here, he will forever be a huge part of the Skyblock community, and I'm sure many other communities such as Lego. I'm happy I was around when he was active, getting to know him was truly a pleasure. Rest in peace Gray.
Well done, Krissy. I am so sorry to hear this sad news, he was such a nice man. My condolences to his family and his friends.
Rest in peace sage , thank you for your stories, and all the smiles and happiness you brought to everyone on TS.
