Don't buy art from unofficial resellers!

Yep, flame going around right now. He is reselling many peoples maparts, and is just being rude to them, not caring whatsoever.

 

this afternoon i find out panicKK was reselling my maparts, i warn him, he didnt care and keep reselling.
I have been working hours for those maparts, and players just make huge profits from my hard work




and none of those arts belongs to him

 

Sorry this happened to you, unfortunately there is no place to suggest server rules as suggesting rules is weirdly against the rules. Which is a stupid rule, but it is what it is.

But ya, its kinda sad this is happening. The only thing we can do is make a community rule, the punishment being going on strike from their island, and island banning them from everywhere we can until they agree to stop selling

 

if i resell people's maparts i could easily make thousands of grass,
this is so unfair.

Sad thing is I sell this dude so much discounted stuff. Is this UskElite's? I also accidentally bought map art from him because he said he made it and I didn't know who else to buy from.

 

Know this may be a little off topic but since the thread is discussing map art and reselling, I'd like to use this to say that if you see anyone besides Rifnos selling a map art of my profile picture, do not buy from it. :/. Also Its really sad that people lie and do this, and should be a bannable offense.

 

I suggest you all put your name or /visit (name) in the bottom of your map arts, it won’t stop them reselling, however at least if someone buys it and sees your name they can visit you and will give you credit.

just logged into the server for the first time in months because I got a DM about how my map art was being sold illegally. Really nice way to get myself welcomed back into the server /s

I also noticed that I havent seen any mod feedback on this entire forum post thats been up for more than a week? Don't get me wrong the mods are wonderful and I'm happy to have them around and am forever grateful for the things theyve done, but this needs to be addressed at some point, no? unless im just being blind and havent seen it

if it's not addressed or people arent punished for stealing map art of other people on the server without their permission. I dont think this is ever going to be a server I want to return to.

Yeah Termsy copied mine and taunted me in main chat about it.
Obviously i got annoyed and perhaps said things i shouldnt have but unbelivably this resulted in me getting ban.
Go figure.
Tbh i think some players have a better relationship with staff members than others and well ya know they get favoured.

 

Welcome back Chai, sadly copying and reselling of maparts is not against the rules and as we stupidly cannot suggest rule amendments or additions it looks like it stays that way, meaning staff have no power to do anything anyway.
Last conversation I had with a staff member was them basically saying the community should basically call out the resellers and “shun” them, “make them feel bad” which I did not like the thought of.

 

I had lilcupcakefreak /msg me saying chill out JJ its just a game, just leave it.
She was cooped with termsy.
The whole situation was quite shocking imho

So i called Termsy out as your saying is suggested by staff and yet i got banned for it.
