Hi all, Im new on the Skyblock.net server, that said im not new to skyblock. Been playing Skyblock the past 6-7 years and been admin on a few to over time. That said, im having a had time to figur out how to eighter obtain more lava or gain obsidian. Normal on Skyblock one would think that with the challenges you really never had to leave you island. - Buildt your cobble stone generator - Create your farms with whats in the box - Farm trees and exspand island - Buildt a mob farm - Compleeting challenges to gain more posibilities - like fx 64 oak logs maby provide 1 birch sapling ect. - Some reward would be more lava or obsidian to create a glod farm - Use the gold and convert a few villager zombie - Buildt an iron farm ect. ect. But here on Skyblock.net im stuck, what am i missing? Am i really forced to use player shops or wait for a lucky vote key?
To get more lava you need to right click an obsidian block with an empty bucket. To get obsidian, you can buy some from a player shop (shops like /visit CloudCentre and /visit 52Phenomenon sell it). To get a bucket, you can buy iron from such player shops, get iron from vote crates when you open keys and from kits.
Challenges are broken. Mob farms are possible and obsidian can be obtained from playershops and something else. Iron farms are impossible due to iron golems not spawning/not dropping things.
The source of obsidian on this server comes from ender chests which you can get at the shop at spawn for 15 grass and break it and get 8 obsidian from it
Well thats just sad, real skyblock you shouldnt have to ever move off your island. I get the warp mob and warp animal because of mobcap. I am also into the community part of player shops ect. but this should be to ease up the speed of your own island not a must. Thank you anyway
Everything gotten in playershops you can obtain yourself, but we use playershops because some people will go out of their way to get the items we want and sell them to us cheaper than getting them ourselves. Or it just saves a lot of time.

Hi, Welcome to Skyblock.net! This server is kind of different than normal Skyblock. You can always explore other people’s island and buy items from player shops. Tip: to get grass and keys, do /vote (in game) and click the links. They will open your browser and just do the Captcha and enter your username. Skyblock.net is divided into 3 sub servers. Survival, Economy and Classic. If you ever join Economy, you can ask me for help. (BobaLatte). I usually have a coffee nickname on. Hope you enjoy!
Well im not againt the concept, that a part to, and simular to servers iv admin / hosted in the past, my only wish was just that the Challenge system was buildt up in a way so you could manage to just grow your island without the need of others (except the warp animal / warp mob due to mob cap, and that will happen with a healthy server)
I'm pretty sure that completing challenges in this server doesn't give you items, just XP and cookies.
