Silk Touch Enchantment

Hey, I was wondering if silk touch has a lower probability to be in your enchantment list at an enchantment table than other enchantments because I haven't been able to find a silk touch enchantment yet after many days of checking. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but does anybody know the probability for someone to get silk touch on their enchantment table for that day on the server? Is it at all different or is it extremely low?

Edit: About a minute after posting, Just for clarification, I do have 15 bookshelves around the enchantment table, so it's at its highest probability.

 

the chances are low if they are enchant table i tried to get even 1 from it ended up spending over 140 levels didnt see one, i bet you most likely get them from fishing

 

Yeah I'm guessing it's a low chance, I tried buying a silk touch book the other day and no one was selling any. A while back people used to sell loads

 

Wait so do the enchantments stay the same 24/7 or do they reset every day? Because I thought that's how it was supposed to work, and them staying the same all the time seems a little odd.

 

i dont know about that i just went on time for about 30 min straight tried to get silk and couldnt get it after over 100 tries

 

Every time i get to level 50 i start enchant for silk, and always gets 1-5 silk touch pickaxes and sometimes 1 book. And then im always down to maybe level 26 when im done, thats why i dont overprice silk picks like most shops

 

What is your strategy? Or is it a secret
I am also kind of confused, because y'all make it sound like you can get the silk right away after paying some levels, while I thought you have to wait each day for a reset and hope that it has silk. I'm hoping it's just me.
