Since we have recipes to turn sand into red sand etc, could we maybe add this to sandstone too? So we can dye 8 red sandstone to white and the other way around?
Ehh I like the idea but I don’t see the purpose of it. Obviously the purpose is to be able to trade it but no one would be buying sandstone they usually just craft it or buy sand to craft it Neutral
The use would be to make sandstone usable. like, people get red sandstone from ma j and they might not use it because they dont like the colour or whatever. Having it sit lay around in chests is a waste of sandstone because if people can dye it they can sell it easier to people who might do want to use it but in its different colour.
Support! Being able to convert red sandstone back to regular sandstone would be useful. This change seems like it would fit naturally with the recipes to change regular sand/red sand back and forth.
I support this. The recipe is already in the game to convert sand between normal and red. When I have built in single player, sandstone is such a great block to work with, whereas I don’t seem to find as much of a use for red sandstone. It seems like many people fight to make rarer blocks more obtainable, and this would greatly increase the ability to get sand stone with a recipe that is already somewhat implemented.
i think sandstone shouldnt even be illegal in the first place who would take the time to farm 2 island for 1 sandstone block
