Closed + others, weird filter?

I was messing around with the filter with Kai a bit today and I found 2 weird words currently that are filtered that make literally no sense. I don't know anymore besides these but comment anymore, ig.

Facility and Travis are filtered. I don't see why they have to be in the filter, 'specially because Travis is a name.

And then on the other hand, they have every version of the f word possible filtered besides fak and fack. I think the filter needs a little bit more, I dunno, fine tuning? I guess, to fix it and make more sense.

 

Support I think we should be able to submit quick and small words we think should be filtered that the devs can quickly add to make the filter better and better

 

i like the idea, support. i also like the idea of monster, this way we would slowly expand the list and make the overall list more accurate.

 

Imagine if someone with "Travis" in their in game name joined skyblock and nobody could address him because the filter would block his username. LOL

This could be a nice idea, in case there was an inappropriate word they forgot about

There are a few Dutch words in the filter that make no sense too. and the curse words are left out. lol

This actually sort of happened, someone was talking about old players and asking if certain IGNs belonged to certain people. One of which happened to be named Travis.

As Monster said I think there should be a form or something where people can submit all the words that could be filter.

 

The word "facility" was being blocked due to an error in one of the chat filter rules. It's fixed now on classic, skyblock, and economy.

Certain personal names are blocked by the filter to help protect the privacy of individuals who have been threatened with release of their personally identifiable information.

If chat filter rules are interfering with anyone's ability to use the server, such as if a player's IGN contains a word that is inexplicably blocked, please submit a thread in the bug reports section and I can add an exception if the player's username is otherwise appropriate.

 

im creating a list of words that I believe should be filtered/unfiltered. If I send it to you, could you look into it and give me your opinion? Thought it’d be appropriate to ask on this thread too

I don’t wanna post it here because of some of the words I have on it
