What is the best way to go down blocks?

    generally, i will jump off the edge and try to get the block underneath the wall but i need this to go 10 blocks down, is there any better way.

    You can ask for help from donors with fly or just use a water elevator and try to place blocks as you slowly descend.

    I also see that enderpearls are quite useful when it comes down to teleporting places

    Use water if nobody is helping you with "fly" make a waterfall and you can safely flow down as far as you'd like
