How many messages do you have to have in oder to get the ranks like well known member or active member and stuff like that?
It's called Trophies, Active Member - 70 Trophies, Well Known Member - 180 Trophies. Trophies = Points.
Forum titles are gained through trophy points, as Arceus previously stated; it is not based solely on your message count. Reaching a certain number of messages can result in trophies being awarded, that can help you gain a forum title, however that is not the only method. Here is a quick overview of all the possible forum titles that you can gain through trophy points, taken from Mai's thread. You may also purchase premium for the forums, here, which allows you to choose a custom title, gives you access to a special section of the forums, as well as other small perks. You will also be rewarded with 25 trophy points, if you choose to purchase premium. It costs $5.00 for one month of premium, and $50.00 for lifetime premium. You will gain the following perks for purchasing premium on the forums: - Access to upload animated avatar - Access to profile covers (Bypass requirements) - Access to bypass flood check (Bypass post waiting time) - Access to edit custom title (Contact Forum Administrator, title must be appropriate) - Access to upload 2 images to your signature - Access to lock your thread. - Access to Premium section for Premium members only - Unlock Premium Member Trophy (Rewarded 25 points)
Along with messages, some other things which you gain trophy points for are being on the forums for certain lengths of time, getting premium and having so many ratings
