Denied [Henry6927] Island Farming [Michael1234][Denied]

I was playing on the regular Skyblock, (not classic), my Username is Henry6927, and Willywonka1607, The full ban msg said: "Major Island Farming", I have not read the rules for this server before, But I think that I was ban for Island farming sand and selling it to bertberry, But I dont think that this was a wrong ban because I was island farming, and that is somthing i should not have done. I have never been ban from this server before, but I think that I should be unban, because I swear that i will never do it agian, and to prove it you dont have to even unban my alt willywonka1607 so I cant island farm. Also I just wanted to earn some grass because it is hard to without paying money, and i dont have any money so yeah, please unban me

Hello Henry, thank you for taking the time to appeal.

As you have stated in your appeal, you were banned for island farming very large amounts of dirt and sand. You used the dirt on your island, and sold multiple stacks of sand to BertBerry by converting it to red sand. Bert had brought to my attention that you were one of his largest red sand suppliers, and asked me to look into your account to see if any of it was illegally obtained. When I looked at the logs on your alternate account's island, it showed that you had island farmed 2,311 dirt, and 2,170 sand. That is more than a double chest full of illegally obtained materials. I understand that you were trying to gain grass by doing this, however that does not excuse your actions. Farming that much sand, considering you can only get three per island, takes effort. You would have had to restart your island over 700 times to obtain that amount of sand. According to the block logs, you farmed these materials over the course of three days.

Before continuing with this appeal, I would like you to answer a few questions. Please answer them to the best of your ability. The more specific the answers are, the better.

• What did you do with the dirt that you island farmed? A lot of it was placed on your island, however there is still around 600 dirt that is missing.
• What did you do with all of the sand that you island farmed? Did you sell it all to BertBerry, or to other players as well?
• What did you do with the items that you received from trading the illegally obtained red sand?
• What made you decide to island farm? I understand that you may have not read the rules, however it should seem rather obvious that restarting your island to gain materials is not allowed.
• Is there anything else that I should know before continuing with this appeal?

 

Question 1: I Do promise that all the dirt that I farmed that i knew about i put on my island, and im not sure what happened 2 it, mabye when i died it could have gone, or what but idk.
Question 2: I sold most of it to BertBerry, but about 7-8 stacks went to other players, i frogot who but yea
Question 3: bought things and gave some 2 other players.
Question 4: This server it is really hard to get lots of grass, unless you use real money, witch is not an option for me, so yeah
Question 5: I am pretty sure bertBerry knew where I was getting my sand, but he still continuted to buy so yeah

 

*for the question about the dirt not all of the islands that i farmed i took the dirt mostly i just took the sand, that could be why there is 600 dirt missing

 

Thank you for answering my questions. I understand that some of the dirt may have been lost, however you are still responsible for 606 missing dirt. I will have a super moderator remove all of the dirt that has been placed on your island, as well as any that has been placed in chests on your island. I will talk with BertBerry and try to find out exactly how much sand you sold him. Whenever you get unbanned, which will be decided by the outcome of this appeal, an amount of grass equal to the amount you obtained from selling sand to BertBerry will be confiscated, and the sand will be destroyed.

I would also like to ask if you have any items in your player's inventory/enderchest. Upon being unbanned, you will be required to place a private chest on your island, with all of the grass needed to refund BertBerry, as his sand will have to be confiscated because it was illegally obtained. If you do not have the necessary amount of grass, you must sell your beacons and gold blocks that are located under your island, to come up with the needed amount. Assuming that this appeal is accepted, would you be able to do this?

 

uhhhhhhh i cant really refund him because i may or may not have already spent it sorry , but i can give u everything i spent it on exept for the rank someone bought for me

I have spoken with BertBerry, and have also given the logs a second look. It appears that the only place that you have put sand or dirt, is on your island, which means that you must have used trade shops, or drop trades, to sell all of your red sand. There are also no logs of you placing dirt anywhere outside of your island, however there are logs of you placing chests with dirt on your island, and the proceeding to remove them. This leads me to believe that you have also been trading dirt with other players, by placing the blocks in a chest, and then breaking it.

With that being said, I do not feel that it is appropriate to give you another chance at this time. You illegally obtained thousands of items, and proceeded to trade them with other players, just to gain more grass, and you were caught. Your illegally obtained items will be removed from your island, and your items will be used to refund all players who had traded the illegally obtained red sand with you. You do not seem genuinely sorry, some of your facts do not line up with what I am finding, and you have no way to prove that you will not do this again. This 'island farming spree' was obviously planned in advance, and you knew what you were doing.

I believe that your current ban length is an appropriate punishment, given the severity of your actions. Please take some time to rethink your actions, and read over the rules, which can be found here.
