Minions/Pet

I suddenly had an idea overnight that killed me and I couldn’t sleep. So I had to post this. So the idea is that maybe skyblock could introduce a custom plugin that adds in minions/pets Into the game. These are not just pets as cosmetics etc but acctually help in the game. Maybe they could add a shop villager at warp trade or something, each different minion that helps with different thing but obviously costs quite a lot of valuables. Maybe like 200 diamonds can buy a minion that gives you speed, or helps you mine. Obviously won’t be really op. There will be 2 types of these, passive and active. You can either place them and there will be a little minion that spawns and does whatever or inventory pets, where like if you hold it in ur inventoey does whatever. Or Actives. Actives basically let’s say the creeper pet. It will right click and explodes around you hitting mobs. Anyway this is just my idea. Haha!!

Oh It could be called inventory pets if it’s only going tic be in the inventory

There’s could also mystery eggs you can buy, so you get a random pet for cheaper, but you can’t tell pick which one you will Be getting.

Common egg
Rare egg
Legendary egg
Each one will be More expensive but more useful.

I’ve seen something like this on another sky block server which I watch a YouTuber play on. It seems to work really well and is really widely liked there and are coveted. Not comparing the two servers and saying well that server has it so why don’t we, however I do like the overall concept of them. They also keep chunks loaded which brings forth both positives and negatives. I’d say I’m neutral on this.

 

I would easily support this. Sounds like a fun thing to earn.

I like this idea as well Krissy, but I can see this having conflicts with pvp toggle and such. if that was not an issue I would say heck yes!

As stated, I’m impartial about the chunk loading because this will definitely put some sort of stress on the server if chunks are loaded with huge farms, grinder, or generators constantly running, however makes these minions very attractive to get in order to gain a more competitive advantage and make the most efficient farms/gens/grinders.

 

Full support! this could be a really cool feature to the server and can help a lot of people on the server!
