You are one of the most influential people and that too the most experienced-both in the server and real life. You have helped people find their flaws and suggest ways to fix them. One example is me. You took your time to find a "ghost" flaw that was lingering around me and came to address it. I was shocked that there was and I instantly went to work on it. You have helped me in many ways in me becoming from a good person to a better than good person haha and I honestly cannot thank you enough.

Could you please explain the duping incidence that lead to you being banned after your demotion?
You told me you held on to duped items knowing they were duped and later gave them to a friend also that you had items made for a then interest of yours hoping to woo him?

If I was new here and wondering weather to support you or not how would I know to trust you after that?

I have no doubt that you care for this place at least a little being that you are still here after all that has happened over the years. I have respect for you and all that you have done here. Despite some of the things that you personally have done to tarnish my character here. You know this as we have spoken about it many times. Regardless of our differences at times I have never doubted your love for these kids and your devotion to the server.

This is the one thing that scares me when I think about all the work that mat t Leeeroieee Noobcrew and others put in to this server. Things like this would ruin the new server that they worked so hard on for months to get perfect.

So in final I ask you how can I trust that you will do the right thing next time when fronted with something of this nature instead of letting personal interests get in the way?

 

You seem upset, I'm sorry if I upset you. That wasn't my point in responding here. I don't want to take this off topic but to reply to you I am far from perfect. I don't think anyone would argue with that. I also never said I was perfect. I've made several mistakes as staff. I have never done anything like this tho.

I would have gotten rid of the items and not have made items for them. I also would have banned them. I have banned many friends, but this isn't about me.

Again I am sorry if my question to her upset you.
I honestly just wanted to bring to light my fears about her re-promotion and ask that question.

 

In Krissy's defense, we're all humans and make mistakes. We fall from grace. Even when we make mistakes, we should be allowed to hold onto our dignity.

I think it's a valid question whether someone can have the moral authority to enforce rules they've recently been banned for breaking, and this needs to be considered no matter how penitent or how well liked the person might be. It might require some time to live down the notoriety, make amends, and demonstrate by our consistent words and deeds that we've turned a new leaf and are determined never to do anything like that ever again.

I do think that prospective staff members need to have a good reputation of trustworthiness within the community and have consistently behaved with integrity, since they will be placed in a position where trust is vital and even the appearance of impropriety can damage the reputation of the team and lead to distrust within the community.

I never give up hope of rehabilitation, and I admire Krissy's courage in being willing to discuss these matters openly and candidly and make a case for why she feels she would be a good moderator in spite of these unfortunate events that have occurred in her past.

But at the same time, I know that it takes a lot of time and effort to regain trust once it's been lost, and it's not likely to happen overnight.

This is why I think we should be careful to only consider candidates who have consistently carried themselves in an exemplary manner and whose reputation within the community is above reproach and who have no major infractions in the recent past.

But we know that we're none of us perfect, and we all make mistakes. Each of us has done something we're ashamed of in the past. What's important is that we learn from the experience, try to make amends, keep a humble attitude, and try to do a little better next time. And we should treat others with the same understanding we would like in return, imagining ourselves in their shoes and considering how we would feel in their place.

And above all else, be good to each other.
