Where The ****** Is My Silktouch.

Im Enjoying the new server. Very smooth, works well and the plugins are good. Hoppers are finally back.
Enchant All Is Gone. Which Is Fine. God Items Were BS. New System Is Fine Anyway.
But then I realized. Silktouch isn't here. Which quite frankly, is stupid. We need silktouch to pickup spawners. Server does not let you do so without it. Silktouch is needed for all sorts of farming and building applications. There is no other way to do some things. To make matters worse, silktouch was allowed for the first few days after opening. Now its become a rare commodity of which there are possibly 20 in existence. And very soon there are going to be none left, or if there are any they will be forgotten in a chest somewhere.

So in light of all this, I think we deserve an explanation, and not "Oh this server is mostly vanilla" because no its really not. Either someone tells us officially why silktouch is gone or just add it back in.

 

I'm wondering the same. I was lucky enough to get a silt touch, but I might go crazy without it. I'm a fan of building, but sometimes I place a block I can't pick up without silk touch. Glass for example. I don't miss enchant all, that's neither here nor there, but if I accidentally allow my silk touch to break, it would be a sad day. D:

It is a fun server otherwise. I like all the extra little somethings added.

 

I believe they have disabled silk touch temporarily due to some duping bug that happened in the first few days within the release that involved silk touch in it. But hopefully they will fix the duping bug and re-add it back. Otherwise you can try getting a silk touch on a book at any public enchantment table at /spawn or maybe at my island (I removed it temporarily until im done building)

 

No. I was informed by Lee that silk touch was never meant to be added to skyblock, and it will not be re-added. He said it was all a misconfiguration and that they apologize for it. So I wouldn't get my hopes up sadly Krissy LegoCollecter14

Edit: They only removed it from /enchant. You can still get it from an enchanting table.

By what logic? If they want more survival then remove all the /enchant
