[NEW RELEASING SERVER] Beta Testers

I believe, before he fully release the new server we have a chance to beta test it. You'd be able to pay 5$ or so on buycraft to play say.. 1 week early than the public.

If this were to become a thing would you get to keep the stuff you get when the server does open up for real? If so I'd support this.

 

I'd like to see this idea happen, although if items were kept it would be quite unfair to others.

That would be really nice. It would be fun to learn the ins and outs of the commands and such and then teach them to the new people when the server finally comes out.

I don't think people should pay for it. This is easy way for players to be chargedback since it's only 5$. Maybe cyp picks random players?

 

Or maybe people can sign up/volunteer and cyp can pick from there.

Support as long as there's no price. I'm not even going to beta test and it seems stupid.

 

Cyp should just randomly go online and whatever people happen to be online get to be BETA testers. He probably would have to do this a few times tho.

 

I frankly don't care whether this is something people pay for or get selected for--having people beta testing the server will help to iron out as many bugs as possible before release. (I don't want unchecked bugs never being fixed, as per what has happened on .net in the past)

 

Support. I don't care if it's through paying a bit of money or being randomly chosen, I think that beta testers would be excellent. The bugs that can only be found by actually playing Skyblock for a while need to be ironed out before release, rather than neglected to be fixed for months afterward (as happens usually on Skyblock.net).

I like this idea but why pay? We can use Annn 's idea of letting cyp choose a random grouo of people and let them try it

 

Ehh, I don't really like any of these ideas. I think it would give the Beta players an advantage over anyone else, and that is not what we want at all. I understand it will allow bugs to be fixed, but thats something that should be known before beta testers even.
