Allow Mods to kick players for causing too much Drama in public chat. That is all.

It falls under the rule of flaming and disrespect, but mods don't always kick/mute for it.

This type of things seems to be happening more frequently recently, and I believe it should be added.

Support, maybe if people ask groups to say "MOD" in chat all at once too.

That is already covered under spamming chat. It starts a spam train and leads to chaos. No bueno.

It would have to be a more specific rule. "Blanket" rules like this cause too much trouble. I usually just ignore chat when people are arguing, but to be honest I'm not exactly sure what would be defined as "Drama".
I guess mods usually just kick people who are disurbing the server, so this is probably already done.
    Neutral I think?

Support - There's starting to be a lot more drama, and although some mods kick for it, others don't.

Neutral, "Drama" can't be defined, each mods would have their own opinion leading to different punishments depending on mod, which could further cause drama on forums and in-game

I propose we define what drama is then. I suggest that drama is not the same as being toxic or abusive in chat. That is already covered in the rules that pretty much mean don't be a cyberbully.

I believe that drama is more like an extremely exaggerated statement that hits public chat like a train hitting a car. Drama is part of attention seeking behavior. Drama can be about quite controversial tropics without crossing the borders into racism or gender issues. Drama is brought up by bored people who enjoy causing chaos. Drama can destroy the friendly relationships we have with each other. Drama disrupts the current conversations in public chat and can upset other players. We do not live in a soap opera. Let's leave drama behind in other media.

I hope you can start agreeing on the nature of drama. If not, feel free to post your own definitions.

No other mod addresses each player as you do. This place lacks a standard guideline on how to react to several situations. Each moderator works at his or her own discretion. Example: 1 mod gave a 7 day ban to someone for griefing a water source block at my shop. A second mod gave no ban to the second player who did the exact same thing.

These are two wildly different reactions for the same offense.

This is why I think a discussion on the topic here would help the community. Things only work if everyone is on the same page about an issue and act appropriately according to the solution we can agree on.

The more people who read this thread, the better. And if more players like how considerate and direct your method is, then let's try to make that a new policy.
