First of all, I know this isn’t my first good-bye thread. But this one is different. The only reason I always came running back is because of the connections, but seeing as I only have a couple more friends that I still care about here, I have no reason to be here. I’ve grown on, and joined new communities. I’ve grown out of the whole block placing game, and went to the other side of Minecraft. I now sell plugins to people for money, and spend my free time using Minecraft to learn Java (the programming language Minecraft was written in for those of you who don’t know) so that I’ll be way ahead of the game in college.


Believe it or not, I was not always this toxic player that bashes staff for the pure fun of it. Joining August 2012, I fell in love with org. I was just the average green bean. Times were a lot different then. Everyone was respected; this community was at it’s prime. To give you a sense, donors were not common. Non-donors were about 75% of the servers. Mod was the most respected position, it took nearly 7+ months of having an application to become mod (unless you had direct contact with Crew). To give you an idea, the moderator rank was more respected and looked up to than Crew and Cyp are (currently) combined. Around late 2012, December perhaps, I got my first ban. This ban was not a legit ban, it occurred when (I’m pretty sure, but don’t quote me on it) Strommaniac got to bypass logblock, vanished, and had creative… Didn’t exactly go well for the average server kiss-up. My real shine was around this time. korilla (by far one of the most known players ever) decided to talk to me and we instantly clicked. Through korilla, I met my amazing friend group: sub2whoskrozzy MyLovelyAviLumps Crimsonwrath asiandude_ Maximilian Darkchyldeone Laura_or_is_it and Flippy. All these guys pretty much make up my childhood. They no doubt will always be my friends. While I only still talk to some now through skype, I know our friendships are never going to end.


Cut to early-mid 2013, I had the most viewed mod app at the time. I had somewhere between 4-7k views on it with over 300 comments. To give you a hint on how big my mod app was, even CypriotMerks supported it. However, I got mod around the time the playerbase started dropping. However, this didn’t stop me. My friends and I still dedicated everything we had to keeping that server well moderated. Cut till a couple months later, I resigned. Many regrets, but oh well, what can you do? I got banned for a year perhaps… then I finally got unbanned.


This is probably mid 2016 now, and well, that’s when I stopped seeing eye-to-eye with staff. I guess you could call me that, “salty ex-staff”, but the thing is… I wasn’t doing it to be salty, I did it because I wanted the best for the server. I tried to give suggestions and point out flaws in the system, however, all this resulted to was disrespect and spite between the staff team and I. Looking back, what I did was toxic… Oh well. Live and you learn am I right.


So now we are here in 2017. I’m currently globally banned thanks to people (who I thought we’re friends) telling false lies about the server Crimsonwrath and I made. Quite quickly, everyone hopped on this bandwagon. It got to the point where nearly all staff members hoped on this band wagon, and let’s just say a staff member had to play on an alt so they wouldn’t get in trouble here. Quite quickly, I learned who are actual friends and who my fake friends were.

it's been great knowing you. I understand the hard feelings of losing friends. I am actually experiencing a similar burnout myself. all the friends I started with 2 years ago when I started are all gone and no longer play here. But I have learned to move on. I will miss you.
