• Why do YOU think you were banned? Rumored to be harassment towards Epic_eddie

• Was this an incorrect ban? I think not, but I want to more likely talk about it.

• Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? I don't feel like explaining, all my bans have appeals so a little searching didn't hurt no one.

• Why do you think you should be unbanned? This appeal is to make a proposition either he gets banned too for just as long as I did or the ban on my behalf be lifted. He constantly tagged me in things even when ignoring him. He would post things and delete them. I am not saying what I did wasn't wrong, and frankly I have no remorse in it, but he was just as guilty as I was. He responded to my post, he tagged me, he made statuses about it, even a video which he removed because his boss had got a whiff of it, Because him and I were both in the wrong and attacking one another, why is it I only felt the ban? He was just as guilty and just as instigating and harassing as I was. He called me a donkey. I said he had a mental illness, we both were in the wrong. This was all said and done on forums, need evidence look at the long list of delete messages and statuses on his profile. You'll find all you need there.

I would also like more than just the moderator Clarity to respond to this, because I don't want any bias coming from this. Not saying you will, just don't want to try/risk it.

I don't know the entire situation but from what I've seen is Eddie would make himself an easy target and tag Dew so she can basically make him feel that way. Dew went overboard and then Eddie was concerned or something. I do feel as if Eddie brought this onto himself but Dew still shouldn't have acted the way she did. I would give her another chance but make sure she does not continue to do this, if she does then give her another ban. Remember to speak to Eddie if not done so already.

 

Are these your opinions on the matter? If so I want to be able to read them... :s

 

So, is this an appeal for your ban or a "I know I did wrong, but he should be banned too" type of thing? Just to clarify, before going into this.

By the way, sorry for my late reply. I didn't get on the forums all day and was out.

I'd prefer to keep the other moderator's opinions private for now as it's more of them just giving input for my decision on this appeal. If it comes to a point where you feel I am being "biased" or something of the sort, I'll ask for more input. Although, I don't see how my thoughts on this could appear biased as I have the same relationship with you and Eddie in this situation, and did look at everything that happened, and considered both sides.
I have talked to Eddie prior to your ban. He knows he wasn't just a victim in the situation, that he practically was begging for you to egg him on and only making himself more prone to the harassment with the things he said.

 

Both, it's a proposition to gain an unban or for him to be banned for as equal time. Him and I were both in the wrong, but I ended up being the only one who received any punishment.

You were banned for harassment. Can you explain what rule be broke and what reasoning you have for thinking he should be banned?

 

Pardon me if I'm not correct, but I feel like you didn't read the appeal fully. Him and I were both equal in adding each other. He said things to me i said things to him. Names were called, and it wasn't being dropped on both ends. I ended up attempting to ignore him but then I was getting tagged over and over again in one of his statuses, and him wanting me to reply. I tried talking things out but he failed to try to even get teamspeak. I had attempts, I made jokes through some of it. Yes, I am in the wrong but so was he.

 

You knowing he provoked me, why has a punishment not been placed? Also I want other staff members on this. Sean's comment are the comments I want. They're trying to help you make the right decision. Him and I both deserve the ban for as equal time. If he doesn't get a ban it's not fair so my ban would deserve to be lifted due to unfairly banning.

 

This is the way I saw it (correct me if I'm wrong)

It all started by Eddie posting the "Skyblock Forums" thread. He linked a video from his youtube channel where he talked about the skyblock forums. You saw this, and you found his channel. You then made remarks about his other videos (something about roofing, at first). You made your signature a gif taken out of one of his videos where he made a funny face.
This all to me was seen as harassment, bullying, or whatever you want to call it. You were having fun making fun of him and taunting him with all these things to make fun of him/his videos.

Then what Eddie did:
He didn't handle what all you were doing well (to state it lightly). The entire back and forth situation between you two became more of him posting on your profile and constantly bringing up the fact that you were harassing him. Which was true, you were, but he was taking it to a whole new level. It seemed very clear to me that what you did bothered him so much. He was being ridiculous and constantly replying back rather than just clicking ignore on your profile like he had so many times been asked to do.

So, I then banned you for harassment and messaged him about it. He was making himself an easy target, practically asking you to say more about him. I banned you and not him because you did start this entire situation. You were initially harassing him and ended up driving him off the edge. I thought he, rather than being banned, should be spoken to. He wasn't understanding that all he was doing was making the situation worse for himself. I hope now he does understand what he did wrong in the situation.

If something like this were to happen again, things will be ideally dealt with not as much in his favor as he's expected to know now how to approach this type of thing for now on.

 

And even now, he has still tagged me in things, and he still talks about the issue in game. There is more to the situation than that, it doesn't matter who started what. You clearly are not understanding that it was more than just him "posting about me harassing him" he called names and spouted just as equal things back at me. Point is he should be banned to. I'd honestly prefer a higher moderator to take this over. I don't trust your moderation, no disrespect though. You're still a trial mod.

Then actually explain why he should be banned, rather than just pulling the "you're a trial mod" card.

This is really your only back up to why he should be banned. I'm not at all opposed to banning him. If you can elaborate more on this, please do. Explain what rule he broke, explain why he should be banned, explain what he did to you.

 

I swear I've said this multiple times. If you read any of what I've said, I said him and I were both equally harassing one another. Which makes us both in the wrong.

 

I just explained here in that long message why I didn't see it as "equally harassing one another".

 

And I stated in my appeal that if you need evidence of what was all said and done to go look for it in the long list of deleted statuses.

 

I have. I looked at everything before I banned you to make sure I was making the right decision. I saw every post made by both of you, deleted or not. I spoke with other moderators about the entire situation and they saw it as I did too. To quote another moderator; "He was baiting himself, but she didn't have to take the bait".
