Hi everyone. If you have never seen me before, please click this link for my introduction! MinIsAwesome's Intro | Skyblock Forums. Your in-game name MinIsAwesome What timezone are you in? UTC-10:00 What country do you live in? USA What languages do you speak? English (Main), Korean (Secondary) Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes I do Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) I have Quicktime Player for screen recording. I have a MacBook Air, so for screenshots, all I have to do is Cmd-Shft-3. Why do you think you should become a mod? I think that I should become a moderator because I can be helpful and kind to players, while giving warnings and reporting players who are not following the rules. I can make sure that players are not advertising, spamming, or hacking on this server. Helpful I am very helpful and can answer questions that players mostly have. I can help people with issues such as scamming, and can help them out if they lost important items. I am very active and can be online just about everyday for at least 3 hours, and in that time, I could help others. Honest I think that this is the most important trait in a moderator. They have to be honest at every time, and I think that I can use this trait. I feel that lying just will break friendships and trust apart. Experienced I'll be honest. I started skyblock.net about 3 months ago, and the reason I wanted to apply for a moderator was because of the very helpful community, and that I wanted to help others. Even though I have been in the community for a short time, I am sure that I know most active people on this server. I have also been on the forums for the required amount of time, and I really enjoy the reasoning on the forums. Forgiving I can forgive people and give second chances to people who have broken the rules. I believe that giving people second chances is important because they can change how they act, and learn their lesson after being punished (ban/mute). I am also an avid forum reader, and I can accept appeals that seem reasonable and to the point. Mature I think that maturity is very important because it shows that you are responsible, and that you can be trusted. I also feel that this is also an important trait in being a moderator for the Skyblock server. Unbiased Even if people have a different religion, ethnicity, or rank, I treat all players the same. I do not single out the one who is different, and I don't purposely ban or mute players who have different tastes as I do. If there is a situation where I have to be the judge, I look at both stories and figure out which one matches the evidence.. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Sunday: 4-5 hours Monday: 3-5 hours Tuesday: 3-5 hours Wednesday: 4-6 hours Thursday: 3-5 hours Friday: 6-8 hours Saturday: 6-8 hours How long have you been playing Skyblock? I have been playing on Skyblock for about 3 months, and have been on the forums for about 2 months now. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) I have not been banned on forums or in-game. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I have been a moderator and an administrator on separate servers before. I know most commands that staff members use, and I know how to fairly ban/mute players. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes/No Yes. Thank you everyone for reading my application! >>Read<< I don't expect to be a staff member because of this post. I just really want some more feedback and helpful criticism so I could do better on my next application. (This is my second application change)
(To flow) How is this in any way helpful? At least list reasons WHY you don't support. Say you were assigned to write an essay on whether or not you wanted a particular thing; You wouldn't just write 'Just no', You would list reasons for your opinion on the subject. I'd suggest using more constructive criticism in the future. This at least gives the applicant something to work on. (Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to put it out there.) (To min) Hacking is mostly allowed. However fly-hacking for people who do not have access to /fly and spider (Wall-climb hacks) are not allowed, also there are a few more here and there. Aside from that, I do not particularly see you in-game (Maybe timezones) and I feel that you need to get a better knowledge of the server if you've been here for 3 months. I wish you luck in the future, but for right now, Neutral.
No Support -Dont see you online -Dont see you helping -I have more reasons but just work on these 2 first.
