Your in-game name: Hirbet How old are you? 16 (November 8 1999) I turn 17 in a 2 months. What timezone are you in?GMT (+0) What country do you live in? England, UK What languages do you speak? I speak English, and I took Spanish at GCSE level with grade A* Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Yes, It was to do with a failed credit card transaction that was resolved and I was unbanned. Why do you think you should be a mod? I think I should be a Skyblock moderator because I am helpful, up for challenges, and I have free time. I have had past experiences due to the fact I used to own my own server. I feel that I can help people even more if I become a moderator. I understand that having mod isn't just a privilege, but it is a chance to help out and make a difference in the server. I understand that this isn't something people just get for the permissions, the tag, or anything else. I want this job so that I can do what I do best, helping people. I can also calm people down, and punish people such as spammers, hackers, cheaters, griefers, and anyone else that needs discipline. I have been on skyblock long enough to know how things work around the server. I have been a member for over 3 years now. I will try my hardest if I were to have a chance in getting mod. Helpful: In my opinion, I am helpful, proactive person . Whenever I log onto the skyblock server, I always ask if anyone requires help with anything, if they do, I help for free and also answer other players questions if they ever ask any. I have a variety of players that always come back asking either questions or asking if I can help out a friend of theirs which I am always willing to do Responsible: This is a very important asset in becoming a moderator .There will be points throught out when a large amount of pressure is applied to me and therefore only I am going to be able to handle this and I believe that I am able to do so . I always want to look for the best possible outcome in any situation and I can be relied upon to do so. Unbiased: In any situation I always look at both sides of the story and take into account everyone involved . I also know what is right and wrong. Taking on this role is not a Rank or for fun, it is a job and therefore no matter if they are my friend or not, everyone must be treated with the same level of respect. Accountable: I always give my honest opinion. I do not change aspects to make a situation worse. I say what is honest. On the server, it can be very difficult to gain trust from anyone, however with me trustful manner, I am able to gain respect from many skyblock individuals. Alert and Responsive In the chat, whenever someone asks a question or is looking for help, I always see it and will constantly do my best to help them out I whatever they require. I constantly read the chat and I am always available to help Patient: I can remain calm very easily and also, no matter how long a scenario takes, I will persevere with it until a resolution has been reached. I will not spam people in order for a quicker response, I will wait for a reply and if they do not respond for a large time period then I would message again. Mature: To be a moderator, you require a large amount of maturity In my opinion, it is one of the most important qualities in becoming a moderator. Have been raised in a family that has a high level of maturity and I believe that it has passed onto me. I would not do stupid, inappropriate things if I get this role,. Team Leader: To be a good team leader, you need to know your own strengths and weaknesses, not only this but also with the people your working with .I put this as the main priority when managing things, as it comes very handy in helping you succeed your achievements Positive: Overall, it is important to have a positive mindset about everything, always trying to improve on what you do. I feel I can do this very well. What qualifications do you have? I have a lot of experience as a staff member of servers. This is through owning my own server, and multiply friends servers that have used me as a moderator to keep things running smoothly, most of these are servers with between 20-70 people on. I can be active, and if I am not on and someone needs me, I can be on skype. I have been playing long enough to finally make a change, and help out. I feel that one major qualification, in my opinion, should be patience. . I have owned a server, that was only small and had around 150 people on at a time, so I had to employ some moderators and carry out my own duties. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I will break this down into a basis for each day Monday: 4 Hours(4pm-6pm and 8:30-10:30pm) Tuesday: 6 Hours(4pm-10pm) Wedesday: 6 Hours(4pm-10pm) Thursday: 3 Hours(4-7pm) Friday: 10 Hours(4pm-12am) Saturday: up to 12 Hours if needed(10am-10pm) Sunday: Again up to 12 hours.(10am-10pm) One Great thing about this is that I have a huge amount of time that can be spent on the server, resolving situations and helping the skyblock community as a whole How long have you been playing skyblock.net? Over 3 Years. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I owned my own server, and due to my job I actually have IRL I am able to take on these moderator qualities. The timings that I have given are worked around the shifts that I take on so I will be able to balance the two things. Do I have the required Softwares? Yes I have both the ability to screenshot, and also have fraps open 24/7 if i need to record anything Have I done F2/A: Yes, I have secured my account. Do i meet the requirements: Yes I have over 100 posts, as well as being an active member for 3 years. Also I have both Skype and Teamspeak for offline communication. If anyone has any further questions, post below, or please contact me in-game. I would appreciate your support in my application. Thank you kindly, Hirbet
Sorry if its the old format, i shall update that, if you are on when i am you will see i am always there to help thanks
Hey Hirbet! You're application is okay and you seem to have added an average amount of detail into it. I see you in-game quite a lot. You apparently have experience, which is always a good thing. Add some more detail into the application. There are a few minor grammar mistakes, for example; capitalize your "I"'s. You mention that you have an IRL job, yet you mention that you can be online for such a long amount of time, are you positive that you can balance the two? Use the edit button, in your first two comments you stated two things that you could have easily merged into the first comment. Help in-game, usually I just see you interacting with other players. Do not repeat the same thing. You state your activity twice, which is not necessary and makes it look like a filler. Good luck! Much much better application. I'll give a judgement when I see you improving in-game.
Well i have to say, i have never laughed so much at feedback, i do love that xD, thanks for the feedback, i shall make changes where necessary
I think that after everyone has given you areas of improvement. This application has become rather good I am going to give my support as I have seen you on the server before and you are always giving people help and you have even helped me once So yeah, i give my full support
I Only Do 1 Review Per App However You Could Call Myrmidous If You Want A New Review Current Support Status:
Hi Hirbet I really like this application I have only recently joined Skyblock, and thanks for the help you gave, I really needed it Due to that, you defiantly have my SUPPORT! You go do it my friend
Your application does need some more detail and I sometimes see you on. But I do not see you helping out that much and you do need to help out before applying for mod.

Is your name pronounced HER-bet, or her-BERT? This is why the word "sherbet" always throws me off... Rough time in life. You're on the edge of being a legal adult but still expected to follow everyone else's orders. I can sympathize. This application is going very well so far. +1 for correct time zone and country! Most people fall flat on this question, especially Americans from Texas. +1 for being bilingual. I'm going to assume "A*" does not mean there is some sort of footnote* on your grade...? *Like this? My wife does this to me any time Amazon has a something she wants. Much sympathy. This part is literally the only reason I enjoy applications. One moment while I get a fresh drink. Time passes... Took longer than I thought, sorry. Kiddo needed to practice her math a bit. She has trouble counting to "potato"... Anyways, ready now. PROCEED. Werry interwesting. You seem to be repeating yourself more often than Kanye West with a stutter. I read this twice then glanced down below at your qualification list-- almost everything you have here is restated there in a better, cleaner format. Move most of this content into the correct sections and slim your preamble by about 90%. I did enjoy the part about "...because I have free time". +1 for honesty, Mr. Herb. Now on to the qualifications! Thank you for the opinion(?). Please restate this as "I am a helpful, proactive person": Everyone thinks they help out but if you are going to list this as your best quality then be a little more confident about saying so. Can't hurt. That "variety of players" line sounds like William Hung scribbling song lyrics on a Wendy's napkin. Read it out loud and clean it up please? Or ignore me, these reviews are pretty awful. Good opening statement. But your followup sentences had more garbage than Oscar the Grouch. A large amount of pressure only you can handle and you believe so? What the flying monkey poo? Rephrase this; it sounds like you had something in mind but then forgot where you were going with the sentence, sir. Pet peeve: The word is "unbiased". This "non-bias" qualification popped up a while ago in Moderator applications and everyone seems to be copying it. It just will not die. Listening to both sides before rendering a judgment is "impartiality". If you are going to list how impartial you are please provide situations, e.g. "When reading appeal threads I try to look at it from both sides of the issue to see if there is a misunderstanding". +1 for understanding this is a job. That's an unusual thing to see in a Moderator application. This broke me harder than an alcoholic at a Jimmy Buffet concert. "Honesty" is one of those traits you cannot prove you have just by talking about it. As a matter of fact the longer you talk about how truthful you are the stranger it sounds. I wouldn't lie to you about that, honest. Try something like "Accountable" or perhaps "Integrity". You can back this up by pointing to your history of never being banned, never having a scam complaint and cooperating well with the staff team. I, hmm... +1 for this. Cannot remember anyone ever listing this particular quality before, at least not in this way. Flesh it out a bit and explain why being alert & responsive is important to the job. Another +1 for a good quality. You are halfway to a good paragraph here, finish it up by explaining why patience is a good trait for a Moderator to have. Hang in there. "Mature" is a tough qualification. You went the right route with saying a Moderator needs to be mature, but then devolved into random mentions of family values. Just like "honesty" it is very difficult to claim to be mature-- it's just one of those things you have to demonstrate. Rewrite this to explain how you step into responsible positions. Or showcase how you handle being in charge, for example: "I often have to take over the household when my parents are out. I provide for my siblings and make sure everyone is taken care of". Examples of maturity are better than talking about it. Remove this or rephrase it in a way that makes it relevant. This sounded like a good beginning... but then took a left into LOLWUT with "helping you succeed your achievements". Not sure where you were going here but rephrase it please. The job is to warn, mute, ban, kick and punish. Any leftover time is spent either promoting the server or justifying your actions to argumentative 10 year old players. "Serious" is a default mode; get rid of this qualification or rephrase it into why it matters as a Moderator. Did you kill them? Not accusing, just asking sir. Move this down into your "Do you have experience?" section to avoid repeating yourself. Move this into your "Do you have experience?" section. Starting to feel like an iPod on "repeat" here.. WHEN? Are you volunteering for the midnight to 4am shift...? It is nice that you'll be on for a few hours but for scheduling purposes we need to know when that will be! BLAAAARGH You blew this like a "two for one" special at a balloon animal competition. This is the #1 section that gets you hired for any job, real or imaginary. Experience in a position beats absolutely everything else you can put down. This is where you would list things like "Yes, I've owned a server and hired staff". Additionally if your real life job has management requirements then list them here, you will automatically have an edge of all of the kids posting applications. Why did you decline to mention anything? Rewrite! Quite welcome, sir. Rather enjoyed reading this post. It feels like you have a bit of experience but didn't know what you needed to put down. Some suggestions: Spellcheck: Spelling errors should be an immediate disqualification. Confidence: No "I think I am" or "I believe" statements. Examples: "This qualification is good for a Moderator because..." Best of luck with your application. Support Status: 100% (Rewrite this to make more sense, please.)
