Last year, my sister brought me a diamond ring as a birthday present. I don't know how she managed to buy it. I know that she doesn't have much saving left. I think she may have taken from savings she had left for her marriage. Her marriage is coming soon. When we asked about purchasing a ring, she told that she is not interested in buying a diamond ring. I know that she loves diamond. She always wanted it but never had any. So I planned to get a diamond ring for my sister as a wedding present. I hadn't had any experience in purchasing diamonds. So I am little concerned. I need to get a little knowledge regarding diamonds, I am afraid will the salesman cheat me. How could I select a diamond ring? What are the things to be considered before selecting a ring?
I'll get you some sticks and 1 diamond to craft one for you. Jokes. Tbh, I haven't bought any jewellery. But I know one thing for sure. YouTube is the answer to everything
Don't buy online since you don't have a whole lot of knowledge regarding diamond jewelry, and you should be fine. Any reputable store will not scam you, just go and ask what the general price range is, and to see things within your personal price range, and pick something she'll like!
If this is a legitimate question, you're in the wrong place. For a real diamond ring, you're looking at a minimum of $1500, and that's for a small, inclusion filled, or yellowed diamond. Zircs can go pretty cheap, but they look cheap too. Your best bet is to go into a local diamond shop and talk to someone, they will be the best help. Don't go to those sketch places in the mall, you need to go to a GIA or AGS certified dealer to get a real diamond. Source: I just bought a $3000 diamond ring a few month ago.
