Beacons Not Working.

I have two beacons and i can't seem to give them a effect like speed or haste are they disabled because I've seen some other beacons on peoples islands that have effects.

 

Is the beam working?, if not. Then it's either you haven't got at least 9 iron/gold/diamond blocks under it, or there is a block somewhere above the beacon that is obstructing the beam.

 

It would work if u added at least 3 x 3 iron/gold/dia/emerald blocks beneath it then u click the beacon and put in the same kind of block but in its original form in the beacon. What i mean is like for exaple u put 3 x 3 gold glock beneath the beacon and then click the beacon and put in gold ingot

 

The beacon is lit I just can't set the effect it puts out.

 

U mean like if u put the effect haste for example u dont get it?

 

I can't set it at all I have it all set up but there just faded out.

 

If u placed 3 x 3 blocks (i mentioned the types from before) u can only choose one of the 2 first effects

 

Add iron by taping the beacon?

I know but i have the full pyramid so i should have them all.

 

And besides that i can't even pick the first two. All of them are faded.

 

What is the pyramid made out of? And if a beacon have a full pyramid u can grt to choose regeneration and any other effect

 

Its made of iron and I know but it won't let me.

They need to be filled in with iron on the inside
